I have to give this store a Very Good due to the prices. Ever hear of Starving Artists? Its because most of us are broke and trying to get that big break. The prices need to be more considerate of that. But I do have to say the selection somewhat makes up for the high prices. There hasnt been anything I havent been able to find here that I needed.

I have to agree - this nursery has a REALLY huge variety and selection. Good prices, very competitive. Customer Service sometimes goes beyond and above the normal expectations, Ive been taken care of really good by some of the employees, customer service doesnt usually go to the links they take it at times. Good location. Easy to get to. Busy place but not overly busy.

Rain Forest Flora Inc

GREAT selection of some of the finest Bromeliads, Stag- horn Ferns, and Air Plants. They have been in business for over 20 years and their pride of growing shows in their plants. Reasonable prices. This is a GREAT place for a collector and I LOVE thier beginners kit!

Angeles National Forest

If you take Santa Anita all the way up you will come to a mountain road that will lead you to walking/hiking trails and a little general atore/picnic area. On nice days and in the summer its kinda crowded and parking is harder to found and sometimes down the road. Now you also have to purchase an adventures pass that you can get for a few bucks at any sporting goods store or at the base of Santa Anita where the main Forestry office is.

Norman's Orchid Nursery

Great selection of Orchids. Grown strong and big. Good prices. Helpful staff. Easy to get to location and if you dont feel like tracking all the way out there ordering from their website is really easy and it doesnt take but a few days to get to you.

Zuma Canyon Orchids Inc

This place is amazing. You would have no idea that nestled in these large estate like properties lies a hidden tropical paradise with green houses filled with family grown caring hands. Amazing Orchids, great prices, friendly helpful staff.

Maisie Orchild Nurseries

Great selection of Orchids. All Orchids are hearty and strong. Lots of flower spikes and flowers. Will find them at most Orchid Shows crowded. Family run business. Nice and friendly.

Interesting group of Orchid enthusiests. They host meetings with speakers, have Orchid raffles and fundraisers, create their own detailed newsletter. Participate in Orchid shows and their arrangements usually place very high, since they are amazing.

Virgil's Hardware Home & Garden

Staff is VERY knowledgeable and always eager and willing to help. Very reputable, long time established. Same employees year after year, low turn around. Prices are higher then most although somewhat competitive. I can usually find things here that I wasnt able to somewhere else.
