Lee's Catfish is a rare gem of a restaurant. Fresh, hand made food at very reasonable prices. Delicious and unique menu. I would try the catfish first, but everything is excellent.
Great Indian food in West L.A. Well spiced and unique tastes. Try the chicken frankie for some basic fare or curries or tandoori for more upmarket. The nimbu soda is a favorite, too.
The ambience is good - usually busy but not ridiculously so. Be sure to make reservations on the wknd.
I have been going to Carol Anne for a few years now. She is a great sytlist and a cool person. My female friends tell me that she also does a great job on women's hair.
Excellent and authentic Japanese. Very fresh fish and quite an eclectic menu.
Some of the best Japanese food in L.A. Great fish. Interesting scene. Very expensive.
One of the better sushi restaurants in SF for the price. Great, fresh fish and creative rolls (try the '49er). They don't take reservations, so get there early or expect a wait.
Highly recommend Aron. He is highly skilled, honest, dependable and customer oriented. Have been a client for years.
Incredible chili fries and chili burgers. Take a lipitor and nexium before eating, though.
Great French bistro.
Good Mexican food. Great atmosphere. Killer margaritas.
