St Matthew's Montessori School
This is a fantastic little school for young children. The teachers are smart, nice, and qualified people who obviously love what they do. It is a standard Montessori school that provides a safe environment where kids can thrive intellectually. The school encourages creativity and parent involvement. It's so great to take your child to a school that he is excited to go to in the morning.
Mission Hills Christian School
This is a wonderful school for pre-K through 8th grade. The administrators and teachers are wonderful role models. I love that they have excellent relationships with both the parents and the children at the school. If you want your child to get a high-quality, yet distinctly Christian education, I would recommend that you check out Mission Hills Christian School.
Crush Clothing Co
Crush is a fantastic little store where you can get really cute, trendy clothes for very little cash. They always have great sales going on. The clothes aren't particularly well-made, but they are very hip and always the latest style. The staff are friendly and glad to give you tips on what to buy. Crush also carries a really nice selection of cool jewelry and accessories like hats and purses.
Duesberg Cindy Dvm - Advanced Critical Care
When we had a major emergency with our dogs last year, the vets at Advanced Critical Care saved their lives. This one of the best veterinary hospitals in the country. Their staff is wonderful, the vets are knowledgeable and care about their clients, and the equipment is top-notch. And, of course, this place is obscenely expensive! However, if your pet is deathly ill, this is the best place in the world for you to take him/her.
French's Bakery
French's Bakery is the place where I always go when I need something fabulous to bring to a dinner party at the last minute. They have a nice selection of fresh bread to choose from. Their desserts are mouth-watering to look at and taste just as good. One of my favorite things to get is a breakfast pastry. They don't have a huge selection of baked goods, but everything that they offer is delicious.
Discount Tire Ctr
We have used Discount Tire Centers for all of our minor (and occasionally major!) car repairs for about four years. We have always been very happy with their service. I feel like we can trust them to do a good job the first time. When we were broke college students, they were always really good about coming in under our price maximum. The service is pretty quick; we never had to leave our car more than a day or two.

John Prado came and photographed my 10-month-old son. He did an amazing job and we were so happy at how the photographs came out! He came to our house, which was especially wonderful because our son was in the comfort of his own home. John was very patient and quick at catching our son's expressions on film. We were very impressed with his work and will definitely hire him in the future. I highly recommend him for anyone looking to get high-quality pictures of their children.
Family Pet Sitter
I have found Rhonda Blue of Family Pet Sitter to be a wonderful, reliable pet sitter. She is experienced with all kinds of different animals and I love how well she interacts with them. Rhonda has a great personality and you can tell that she loves what she does. Her prices are pretty much the best you can find in the Tustin/Irvine area, which is another great plus.
Catherine Moore, CFCS
Catherine Moore, CFCS, is a fantastic personal organizer. She comes to your house and helps you organize/clean/sort/declutter whatever part of the house needs help, like the closet, or kitchen, or kids' room. She is professional, organized, and extremely sweet. Catherine takes an unbiased look at the clutter and gently helps you to figure out if you really need the item or if you can let it go. She also helps with household management tasks like menu planning and scheduling. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of some basic organization!
17th Street Dog Spaw
17th Street Dog Spaw is a great place to take your dog for a basic bath and haircut. The staff is very friendly and you can tell that they love dogs. They are reasonably quick in getting your dog bathed and groomed and back to you. Grooming includes ear cleaning, nail trimming, and a complementary bandana -- very cute!
