This is probably the best place in Orange County to find top-quality day or overnight care for your dog. The staff is knowledge and professional, and all of the doggie clients are carefully screened for their social skills, so you don't have to worry about doggie incompatibilities. It is quite pricey, but if you can afford it, you can rest assured that your dog is in excellent hands.
Wiekamp D Michael DVM MS
I LOVE Dr. Wiekamp! As the owner of three dogs, it is so convenient to have him come to our house. It's easy to make an appointment, the prices are fantastic, and Dr. Wiekamp is great with the dogs. He also helped save us a bunch of money by letting me give our dogs injections myself (I have experience in doing this) when they needed a series of shots a couple weeks apart. We are thrilled with his service and recommend him whole-heartedly.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgable about animals. However, because it is a smaller place, same-day appointments are hard to get. Also, even if you have an appointment, you sometimes have to wait quite a while before they can see you. We once had an emergency situation with our three dogs and the staff was amazing -- they basically saved our dogs' lives! On the other hand, one of the doctors said that our dog had food allergies and we spent hundreds of dollars on tests and medications before we found out that he actually had mange. As you can see, we have had the range of service from stellar to sub-par.
Rainbow Kids Hairstyling
We took our 9-month-old son here for his first haircut. The stylist did a fantastic job at getting his hair cut quickly with no tears! She was very patient and flexible and our son's hair looks great! They saved a lock of his hair for us and gave him a "My First Haircut" certificate which will go in his baby book.
My only qualms are, like a previous reviewer said, it was not very clean and the toys were dirty.

Mr Best One Hour Cleaners
We use Mr Best cleaners on a weekly basis. The owner and other employees are very friendly and know us on a first-name basis. They do a great job cleaning our clothes! The one time we had a problem with an outfit not getting cleaned properly they fixed it at no charge. We have always been very happy with the service we have received there.

I cannot say enough good things about Anamaria! We had maternity and newborn sessions with her. First, Anamaria is an amazing photographer. Her pictures are so beautiful and she gives you TONS of exquisite proofs to choose from. She is incredibly professional to work with, but is very patient and sweet, especially with babies. She is not cheap, but she is worth every penny. The studio's staff is very friendly and she makes you feel right at home.
Her store also has a wonderful boutique where you can purchase all kinds of unique, beautiful, and handy baby supplies.
PROS: High quality pictures and service

Tastebuds Cafe
This is a perfect little restaurant for taking a girlfriend out to lunch. Everything they serve is delicious! They have great sandwiches and salads, and everything tastes just like it is homemade. The cafe's atmosphere is very soothing and unique. The prices are great and their passion iced tea is to die for! They also have a wonderful little gift shop with all kinds of unique notecards and accessories.

Three Dog Bakery Inc
This doggie bakery is a great place to get a present for a beloved dog or dog lover! They have a wonderful selection of dog treats that even the finickiest dog will love.
Their baked goods look fit for a person -- carrot cake, "ruffles" (truffles), cheese pizzas, bagels, and more! You can buy the items individually, but they also offer tins filled with an assortment of treats. Either way makes for a memorable present!
PROS: Amazing dog treats
CONS: Not cheap!
Barkery
This store is absolutely hands-down the best little store in Orange County for dog lovers!! They have everything you could possibly want for your dog: clothing, hats, beds, dog bowls, designer carrying cases, and a huge selection of leashes and collars. They maximize every inch of space in that store!
The Barkery also has lots of different breed-themed items, like t-shirts and hats. They also have a great little dog bakery with delicies like carob-chip cookies. It's the perfect place to find that special something for a favorite person or dog.
PROS: AMAZING selection of dog-themed retail goods

Tlc Pet Shop & Grooming
This little grooming shop has a wonderful staff filled with people who genuinely know about *and* care about their doggie clientele. Their prices are very reasonable for baths and haircuts. They also have a great little retail selection.
The biggest problem with them is that they are too popular!! If you bring your dog in the morning, sometimes you can't pick him until the late afternoon. It's also very hard to get same-day appointments. However, if you book in advance, and don't mind dropping your dog off for the day, TLC Grooming will do a wonderful job. The peace of mind of knowing that your dog will be well cared for -- and well-groomed -- is very satisfying.
