La Cabana Restaurant
This place prepares great Mexican favorites - and fabulous margaritas - in a kitschy but clean environment. Ask for a table on the covered patio out back - its great during the summer.
Nail Spa Excel
This place is okay for a quick, cheap manicure or pedicure. Nail procedures are hit-and-miss. Some of the technicians are really rough, and the tools, etc. don't seem that clean. They are quick, though, so if you're in a hurry and just need your nails done, this is the place to go.
Pet Medical Ctr
Pet Medical is the best vet around. Great, friendly service to all animals. My cat had some serious medical issues and they diagnosed and treated him quickly. Flexible hours are great for working pet owners.
Pet Staff Inc
Fantastic pet sitters! They cover much of greater Los Angeles (South Bay, Westside, The Valley, and Long Beach), are reasonably priced, and services are easy to set up. They can come on short notice, and are licensed and insured, which adds peace of mind.
Hush
I've had nothing but good haircuts from Kelly at Hush. The salon is small but comfortable, and everyone is really friendly.
