SAS Shoe Stores
Extremely well made shoes for people with bad knees, ankles or walking problems. Even great for folks who just take care of their body. Perfect for the older adult who needs a sturdy pair of shoes and who needs some extra attention while making the purchase. Staff really know their stuff and they really know shoes.
DSW Shoes - Pasadena
Great selection of quality, name brand shoes for a low, low price and sales and incentive programs too. I purchased a pair of Diesal sneakers for $25 and they still retail for $75 at Macy's today. I've purchased athletic shoes, boots and casual shoes. I belong to their program where you buy $250 worth of shoes and then get a discount. May sound like alot, but it's worth it.
Lady Foot Locker
I happened to be in this mall at one time and I strolled into this store to look at the ladies running shoes. I was a bit disappointed with the selection and they seemed to only be selling the super trendy and impractical running shoes. They do have catalogues to order from but it's much more realistic to actually try a shoe on. Not very practical but a nice store.
Aldo
Great store, the layout is easy and fun. Though the store is small, there are many options to choose from whether you're looking for a casual or dressy shoe. I bought a pair of shoes on sale for $20 2 years ago and they still look great with a littleshine. Great deals.
Kenneth Cole
Great store with a nice style and very hip selection of shoes for men and women. Though the prices are a bit high, they are quality shoes which last and they are very comfortable. This store also has sales on great shoes and they even have some belts, wallets and jackets. Very nice store.
Lane Bryant
Not bad, but not too great either. The selection of clothes at this particular store is a bit outdated which you wouldn't expect in the heart of Los Angeles. Overall some fairly priced sale items and the quality of the clothes is great. I've been to better Lane Bryants', this one could use some remodeling.
Build-A-Bear Workshop
Very adorable store, what a great idea for a business. First you go in and decide which stuffed animal you'd like then you get a heart and kiss it, give it to the staff and watch it get stuffed. Later you can choose the outfit and get it packaged or hold it to go. Lovely for kids to do on their own or have one made with love. A bit pricey for the clothing but the animal itself is pretty cheap.
The Discovery Channel
Very nice and interesting store. It's not just for kids, they've got lots of things to check out. Solar system and dinosaur facts and books as well as "imaginarium" style items. Despite the fancy look, they've got sale items for really cheap and they have a section of items for $5 or less. Great to add to a gift or stocking stuffers.
Saugus Drugs & Hallmark
A nice old style stationary store and pharmacy. Just like in the movies. Tons of cards, small gifts, balloons and extras as well as basic drug and medicine section. Nice and perfect for a last minute party or celebration. Very charming and friendly.
Kay Bee Toys
This store happens to be near my work so I've gone in a couple times to see if I can pick up a gift or two. It is very small in size and jam packed in an overwhelming way with toys and gadgets. It isn't very easy to find things since they're all crammed together and the staff is very young and new. Okay if you're not searching for a specific item, don't come if you know exactly what you want, they most likely won't have it.
