Yard House

This place has an amazing beer list. But if you are like me and dont like beer, they have a few ciders as well. They also have a chocolate martini to die for! Its amazing and goes down so smooth. The food is okay depending (burgers are great) on what you order. Stay away from the pizza's and the sangria and mojitos.

Crown City Brewery

This joint has great hamburgers and fries. They are also known for their beer. Its a casual atmosphere with a big SC flag hanging in the bar (FIGHT ON!). Check it out for a easy, casual Saturday or Sunday lunch.

Lake Taco

If you are looking for authentic mexican food that is cheap....check out Lake Taco. This place has $1 tacos (Chicken are the best) and sides of chips for .75 and fresh guacamole for .75. Park in the back and enjoy!

Alcove Cafe & Bakery

This is my new favorite place to eat. FABULOUS bakery - cakes, pies, cookies!! They also made great panini's. Very chic and cool patio to eat on. Its a buy your food and sit anywhere kind of place in Loz Feliz. Its a must!

Twin Palms Restaurant Mgmt Inc

This restaurant is fabulous! You can eat outside under this large covering. In the evenings they have live music, great drinks and a fun atmosphere. You can't go wrong if you are looking for a place to eat in Old Town. Park in 90 minute free parking lot.

E Z Lube Whittier

This quick oil change shop is great. They have a no door handle policy, meaning they open every door for you. They change oil quickly, professionally and without high pressure sales tactics. I recommend them highly!

Dresden Room Restaurant

very old hollywood. the Dresden is a fun, funky, old school place to hang with friends. You can sit in the old school white leather booths and drink martini's while listening to marty and elaine. a fun, low key crowd. check it out. if you get bored you are close to other options.

Fred's 62

Fun place to grab a late night breakfast or coffee after visiting a few of the bars around the Loz Feliz area.

The parking can be a pain depending on when you try and go into that area, and sometimes the wait is long.

Easy place to meet up with friends before or after a night out.

Fashion Valley Mall

My favorite mallmaybe ever. This is an outdoor mall with everything from Tiffanys to MAC to Macys. They have good food - PF Changs, Cheesecake Factory, a good food court, CPK. My fav is Humphreys yogurt. yummy! there is a billion phone companies,crate and barrel, louis vitton, and gap/old navy.

UTC Westfield Shoppingtowns

this is a decent mall. its not great - doesn't have a ton of options (and there is much better shopping in la jolla than here) but it gives you a good option if you need something quick at the mall. make sure you look it up and see if your store is there. its nice that it is outside, but that is best quality of the mall.
