Citywide Door Incorporated
We called Citywide Door when our builder's preferred door contractor let us down. Our garage door had derailed and we needed service fast, as it was Friday night and we had guests coming the next day.
Tony came out late at night. He spotted the cause of the problem, and got the job done right. He was polite, efficient, and professional. He gave tips to maintain the door and prevent future problems.
Many garage door companies in the phone book are really just answering services that subcontract. Citywide uses its own trained technicians.
Club Libby Lu
Club Libby Lu is a glamorous beauty parlor for little girls. For about $25-40, your daughter can have a complete make-over done in the store, and get accessories to take with her, such as sparkle hair spray and lip gloss. My almost-seven year old was in heaven, and all day at Disneyland, people commented on her fabulous look.
L A Clippers Ticket Sales
The Clippers are a great team and fun to watch. You can get better seats than you can for the Lakers, A live NBA game is pretty fun, no matter what teams are playing.
China Beach Bistro
For a wonderful lunch near Venice Beach, I recommend the China Beach Bistro. This small, family run establishment has a full menu of Vietnamese dishes. Hiep Le and her family offer great food and attentive service. I enjoyed the Pho, which was flavorful and light, and the Banh Cuon, a warm version of a steamed rice roll, available with chicken, pork, or beef. I was impressed by the extensive vegetarian menu as well.
Wetzel's Pretzels
When you are shopping with a 5-7 year old, nothing will tide your little angel over to let you get your shopping done like a fresh pretzel. It's not fried, it's not too messy, it'll take her some time to finish, and it's big enough that she may even offer you a bite, too.
Mr Marcel Gourmet Market
At Mr. Marcel, there are plenty of French goodies, entrees, and salads for you to enjoy in a market-dining setting, and shop to purchase exotic ingredients to inspire your own cooking at home. I enjoyed the foie gras.
Wolfgang Puck Express
This quick casual establishment on the Promenade offers salads, sandwiches, pizza and light entrees by Wolfgang puck. You can enjoy your meal on a patio that makes a great perch for people watching as well.
