i do not comprehend how or why everyone thinks that the olive garden is so wonderful. they bost of an all you can eat/bottomless salad and unlimited breadsticks but do they offer you any no! you order your $12 dollar meal granted it looks pretty on your plate but it doesnt fill half the cavity in your tooth. now the server i had was quite charming but thats because he knows he gets 15-20% of your over priced bill. well... let me tell you i would smile too! i would suggest if your on a diet hit them up!
PROS: it all looked pretty
CONS: just about everything else
when i finished high school i had to make the biggest decision of my life, why to go for college. after several college visits i had my heart set on the very expensive Ashland University. yes ashland is expensive but in many respects well worth it. in my opinion the education you recieve is unsurpassed. the professors will do everything that they can to make sure that you understand the material. campus life and recreational services do a wonderful job, even the scheduling dept. is pretty good. the only downfall is the housing dept. they have no regard for the students, their job is merely to pack in as many students in the dorms as they can so that the school can make more money. if you would like to have a room to yourself you must basically be a second year senior and if you want to live off campus you must be 22. this creates a rift between the university and many of their loyal in debt students.
PROS: nice campus, fun activities, good education, and awesome profs
CONS: housing and cost
the store has some great deals which are present when you first walk in. the layout is similar to a warehouse which cuts costs and allows for greater savings on items. the store is open from 6am-midnight i would recommend shopping either on the earlier end or the later because they tend to be very busy between 12-6pm especially on sunday. One major downside is the cleanliness of the restrooms... i reccommend you hold it. Oh, and if you have any complaints i suggest leaving them with the service center because i really don't think that the cashiers can really fix the problem.
PROS: food 4 less! the name says it all
CONS: the bathrooms
Busy Beaver is like a smaller hardware store.
It's very close to where i live which is one reason why i prefer them over home depot.
They have very friendly staff and are their to help you.
The store is also smaller which is nice because it is often easier to find what your looking for.
The only downside is that since it has less to choose from the prices can be a little more expensive at times.
But overall I think it is worth it for the service.
PROS: smaller and less overwhelming
I LOVE THIS PLACE! I was first introduced to Cold Stone Creamery during a vacation. It was the most amazing ice cream experience I have ever had, yes that's right experience! They have great staff that don't jip you on your ice cream creations. Whenyou give them a tip they sing. Totally awesome experience. I was so excited that afterward I was like why don't they have any of these where I live (luckily they do now!). It is a great place to go in a great location, downtown Monrovia right next tothe movie theater Krikorian. What could be better a little cheesecake ice cream with cherry pie filling, graham cracker crust, and macodamia nuts and then a movie. Yummy!
This is a really nicely laid out store. Appeals to those who like a smaller grocery store. After being in the store once or twice you easily know the lay of the land. Prices in my oppinion were not unreasonable. No one that I encountered was rude. I went there with travelers checks and they were more then happy to help me. Good store, kinda has that neighborhood feel. Not to mention it has a blockbuster right next to it! Always a plus, dinner and a movie anyone?
VERY NICE ITALIAN RESTAURANT! The food was great served hot and fresh. They have a nice outdoor eating area. I went there when it was colder out and they have these cute heater things outside very fun. Friendly service, willing to help you if you need anything. One of my favorite places to eat. Oh, and they have nice portions too! Always important!
Chef's is a great place to go to anytime of day! I especially enjoy breakfast. There are some colorful characters that frequent the place in the mornings but it makes your experience that much more amusing. They have a nice patio where you can kind of eat outside, its very fun. Not too great with handicapped accessiblity on the inside. So, if you have a wheelchair I recommend: go to the bathroom before you go, and eat outside. Other then that great food, fun people, all around nice local dining!
I am not actually from California but I was introduced to some of the top spots by my Aunt when I went to visit. I am a huge movie fan and enjoy going to the movies. From the outside I did not think it was going to be a spacious and luxurious movie theater. I was pleasantly suprised! I saw several movies there. I like the location cute little downtown Monrovia. The theater was very well kept which was nice. I especially liked that is was handicapped accessible, pretty easy for a wheelchair to get around. The staff was also nice if you needed anything or any help. A great experience. They also have a good website and gift cards are easy to purchase!
