Square One is a rare find today when most bookstores are mega stores. It may be small in size but they are able to order anything you want along with personal service and a smile. I also like the fact that they have a few small gifts that are so handy for that last minute extra to accompany the gift of a book.

Jared practices Applied Kinesiology and Chiropractics. He seems to have endless energy and knowledge regarding the human body. He is very personable and dedicated to each individual patient. Ther is actual Improvement with every visit. Jared is able to offer a wide variety of techniques and healing options. I have never had another Chiropractor help in the many ways Jared has. I actually got better!

She will help you to relax and enjoy your baby with her knowledge and easy going manner. Her voice alone is very soothing for parents and baby.

PROS: This is in-home support that will allow you to rest or have Aza help you with other baby tasks.

Martini Cleaners

Martini cleaners stands out because they will go the extra mile for you. They are knowledgable, and are able to take care of problems other drycleaning outfits would rather not deal with. They will also redo any item you are not pleased with and not charge you. This is a business where the customer is always right. They are also quick to see that an item has not been cleaned to their satisfaction. They offer personal service with a smile.

PROS: Easy quick access to the store entrance.

Dan The Sausage Man

Dan The Sausageman has gourmet food products, great wines, and wonderful gifts from small to large, for any occasion. In other words everything is tasteful and very good quality. The service is friendly and very personal. They specialize in gourmet gift boxes and corporate boxes with the companies logo. It's a great find!

PROS: They have a wide range of prices that fit everyone's budget. They are located in Old Burien, which has a variety of interesting stores.
CONS:

SSCC Cooperative Preschools

The cooperative preschool system allows the whole family to learn together. Parents work at the school one session a week and the children get to play in a safe, age appropriate environment. Parents attend monthly classes in the evenings, learning parenting skills and receiving valuable developmental information about their infants through pre kindergarten. It's an experience that lasts a lifetime!

PROS: There are classes for all age groups. You get to meet other parents and siblings, and have a knowledgable teacher AND parent instructor that you can call on when necessary. Friends made through the coop system also are lasting.
CONS:

B & O Espresso

The B & O Espresso is the ultimate in desserts in Seattle. Their quality has remained constant over the last 25 years we have been frequenting this wonderful spot. They made our wedding cake, the cakes for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah and every special occassion cake we have ever needed. There desserts are always fresh and delicious, worth every penny! There is such a great variety, it's difficult to decide what to order.

PROS:
CONS: I wish they would do away with their smokong section, it wafts down to the rest of the place.

Miracle Repair

Miracle Repair does a variety of home repairs. We had a very leaky kitchen faucet and they came to our house within the hour. The phone is answered by a person and you are fit into the schedule as quickly as possible. Their rates are extremely reasonable and the service is professional and friendly.

PROS: A small owner operated business.
CONS:

Trader Joe's

This is the greatest grocery store to come along in the last few years. Great food and even better prices! No other grocery store can match them in either category. They have friendly service and small comfortable stores. If their price goes down they pass their savings on to their customers! Unheard of! I find myself buying more and more of their products.

PROS: Can't say enough about their quality. If not satisfied they return your money, no questions!
CONS:

Five Corners Animal Hospital

This is a 24 hour emergency Vet hospital with a very compassionate, caring and professional staff. We went in their with our cat that had been attacked and we weren't sure what the outcome would be. They took excellent care of our cat and us. They made sure we understood the procedures and all the costs beforehand. Our cat is fine now thanks to Five Corners!

PROS: This is a phone number you should always have on hand.
