There is often a line trailing from the register nearing the door for good reason. The manager has been long known to remember regulars and their orders, which makes revisiting this great joint a pleasure. I have actually had my drink handed to me already made as I reached the front to pay because I frequented this business most weekdays in high school. Wonderful food and pastries offered as well as special drinks with cute cat related names! Many tables in and out to sit and have a cup or do homework, chat with friends, or sit and unwind alone after a hard day, and if you grab a comfy booth you may stay late!
PROS: Easy parking, great service, wonderful drinks!
CONS: Can be very busy at times! Expect it at a great place!
When you have trouble with a mysterious used Jeep with all kinds of after-market parts on it that has problems and needs a fast fix, these guys were a life saver. They managed to fix my clutch assembly, get a special bearing machined offsite for me, installed it, and did the brakes/alignment as originally needed in a jiffy. All of their work has held tight and I will continue to use them in the future for brakes and other work!
PROS: Convenient location on corner of Figeroa and De La VIna...
CONS: Busy with many clients, even on weekends so call ahead!
If you need a rental car in midtown Santa Barbara this location is excellent for convenience of pick up and drop off of vehicles and people using them! In the same lot as the Natural Cafe, its easily located near the auto dealers on Hitchcock. Friendly staff helps with car selection and I have found cars available last minute at this location, but it can be popular so check airport one for more car selection.
Years ago I used Prestigious for a small collision repair and found them to provide excellent service, fast estimates, and high quality paint work. They help with processing insurance claims on site, and work with all types of clientele. Easy location right off the 101 freeway in Goleta which is in walking distance of car rental places like Enterprise for convenience.
PROS: High quality work.
CONS: Higher estimates than some body shops in SB.
As a Jeep owner, there are very limited resources for auto help of any kind to begin with in Santa Barbara, so it's a good idea to make friends with the parts dept. at the dealer. The guys here have assisted me with special orders for hard to find parts or at least answered a girl's convoluted questions with patience and knowledge. I've also gone to see a member of their sales team to test drive a new Chrysler PT Cruiser a few years ago and found it to be a surprisingly low pressure and pleasant experience for a dealer of any kind.
PROS: Large lot, easy parking, friendly staff.
CONS: Far away from most other locations in SB, not near other busineses.
Call up Liberty Tax when you realize that its almost April and you have nothing together but your tax papers. Lauren helped me file my returns promptly and took care of the entire transaction by phone and fax while I destressed at home. My return went through without a hitch and I appreciate their help researching a specific financial qustion I had asked.
PROS: Fast Service and Tax Prep Discount

If you have a classic or special car this is the only place I would trust with the job They shine some of the most high class autos in SB with finesse! Leave in style and tip well because you will be coming back after the next rain!

Wonderful selection of small gifts for word lovers like journals, bookmarks, coffee table books, etc and full stock of books for all literary tastes. I come here for last minute gifts and to just peruse new reads by local authors. The store exudes that cozy/cluttered feeling with stacks of books everywhere but in navigable arrangement. Try them out at a booksigning or just for a blank card of beutiful design.
PROS: Free and convenient parking, friendly staff, smaller store than Borders, et
Friendly staff and delicious creations from the bakery make for a sweet spot to rest your backside and indulge in a cup of joe, fresh roll, sample a homemade fruit salad or special of the day...

Great company that works with all budgets and party styles without trying to talk customers into unecessary expenses. They even took time to help minimize costs and delivered as expected before the event. Any bride to be will love their services and the way their ideas and worries are taken into consideration, so I know they will provide this approach to all types of events
PROS: Work with all ideas, needs, budgets!
