There are so many great fabrics there, I always get more than I planned on. They have patterns, quilting supplies, books, quality gifts to give and get for quilters. On the second floor, are so many beautiful quilts all different sizes. The staff and owner of the shop have always been very helpful and friendly. They will spend all the time it takes to help you find the fabrics and supplies you need. It is a working quilt shop, with private and semi-private lessons available.
The rooms were spacious and imaculate, the food plentiful , and the landscaping is beautiful. We paid so mush less for a 5 day stay than we would have for one night in some place like NYC, for instance. Everyone there is friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxing. You can play golf or go out sightseeing. We definately will go back again to this place.
I have been getting the Dept. 56 villages for 6 years now. But there is so many more than you can get like the Snow Bunnies, Lenox Classics, Yankee Candle, Charming Tails
VanMark, Crinkle Claus, Clothtique Santas just to name a few. You will find so many accessories to go with your collections that you won't know which ones to get. I love going here to anytime of the year to shop.
LL Bean has been in Maine for many years. They want their customers satisfied or you get your money back. They have kept their word on this. You might have to pay more than most stores but they have top quality products. I have had a pair of their Bean boots for years and they are just as good as the day I bought them 12 years ago.
We needed a new hot water heater so we called Augusta Fuel who came promptly to our house only to tell us that they didn't have a hot water heater as small as we needed. What impressed me was that they called around until they found one that was the size we needed. They installed it in no time at all. The men who put it in were so kind and friendly.
Marden's is a place where you will find things dicounted. But beware because if you don't buy it when you see it there, it might not be there the next time you come back. They have clothing, furniture, bedding, toys, building materials and so much more. The prices are way below what you would pay at any other discount store.
Capital Area Staffing Solutions is the way to go if you want fast, efficient, friendly, and quality temps or even if you want to hire someone on a temp-to-perm basis or if you are looking for a job this is a place to look into, also. You need not look anywhere else for you will find that this is the best place around.
This is one of the best places in the Augusta area to get your nails done. I was impressed with how fast I was able to get an appointment. I had the acrylic and I have to say they are best I have seen yet plus they are fast and prompt. They are located down on Water Street.
The Western Avenue Getty is located going out of the city of Augusta which is usually busy. Their gas prices are usually one of the lowest in the city, it is self services. You can also find cigarettes that are reasonably priced, plus you can pick up different kinds of driinks and snacks. I find that the store clerks are friendly and helpful. This is one of the better places to go for those quick a stop after work.
The Depot Laundry used to be the railroad depot at one time. They turned it into a laundry mat several years ago.It is on a quiet street without much traffic. You can go to have your laundry washed & dried there without it being to crowded. If you need assistance they have someone there to help you. You can sit and read the newspaper or magazine they have available there. I recommend this place because it isn't to expensive and is a clean enviornment.
