H & M
With an impressive amount of clothes and styles at even more impressive prices H & M can best be enjoyed during a weekday where it isn’t the mad house it is on weekends. Racks and racks of trendy, classy, and chic items can be found just waiting for you to go through piece by piece. Prices sometimes reflect the poor quality but most fundamental wardrobe pieces can be found at amazing prices. Weekends are overwhelming to the point where you spend have of your visit in line for a fitting room or the cash register.
Penelope's
Sway from the uptight norm of basic clothing stores and head to Penelope’s for the real cool scene. The stark contrast of colors for shirts, dresses, tops, and bottoms mirror the dcor of bright walls and hip art. They have great prices for good quality pieces. My pick: their jeans- not so much stretch, just really comfortable and fitting yet still give off the not-trying-so hard vibe. Guys will have equal chance at finding a good deal with a fairly decent men’s section with simple styles.
Betty Blu
Jeans and denims in every imaginable shade of dark can be found at Betty Blu’s. Sizes and styles are endless as are the labels. Boot-cut, flare, low-rise, carpenters, straight cuts and hang from the walls and pile on shelves. With a certain element of funk in this store, you can find the style you’ve been craving or discover a new personal style and accessorize with some of their wild shoes.
Smack
When entering Smack you feel like you are entering a large closet. Not all like items are grouped together. You can find little accents for your wardrobe and great deals on the racks in the back during their seasonal sales. Designer names are an odd advantage to this store since it is not in the hub on any district but rather nestled among residential areas.
P 45
Beautiful designer names crafted with the softest, brightest, and most striking materials can be found at P.45. Whatever the season, you can find upscale clothing at relatively similar prices. The store is quant and resembles a boutique. Cashmere, Egyptian cotton, Wool, and silks don the racks and stacks. The seasonal sales offer a much needed break but for some are unsubstantial.
Chloe Barker
Chloe Barker is the epitome of feminine clothes. For all those girls who are gitty to be one, you can find adorable apparel accented with ribbons, lace and more. They also carry light-scented candles and bath items. Simply wonderful pajamas and nightgowns that are as soft to touch as they are sweet to look at. Check out their home wares like curtains, door knobs and other things that celebrating your femininity.
Jade
For sophisticated and classy clothes with a young touch head to Jade. The wood floors and green walls focus all attention on the most important part: the clothes. Flattering cuts like wrap dresses, a-lie skirts, the perfect pants for work or play, and super fine knits can be found at reasonable to high prices.
Mc Shane's Exchange-A Women's
The best store great items at cheap prices. You can find amazing brands for discounted prices. Additional sales can make you even more overjoyed. Their women’s section is the highlight of my trip as is their shoes. For a store of their size they manage to keep up with what is current and display what is hot now as best they can. Low prices are ample and service is decent.
Robin Richman
The major of the soft trendy clothes at Robin Richman is made by the designer herself. Along with a few other name brands she offers a fresh new collection for each season. The back room has other items of her collection, often for less. The cut and style of each of her pieces are really lovely and display what each season means to her in a fashion-sense. Definitely go during season sales where she marks down the old and brings in the new.
Exotic Creations
At Exotic Creations the price range is as broad as the selection of beautiful dresses and outfits. Indian made and imported, each piece is really amazing and is great for Indians and non-Indians alike. Sequence and beads create stunning designs and patterns. The shop isn’t very large but is quite unique. Owners can assist you since you might be a little overwhelmed with all those beautiful pieces!
