Go for the Jerk Chicken for added spice in this glitzy crowded haunt. One entree feeds three to four appetites, so consider ordering family style. And, when you're looking for late night fare, stop by Chino for a bite and the party continues. Fun people watching at any time.

Babalu is a seductive restaurant with Latin-Carribean atmosphere. From the lounge, sensual Jazzy music carries through the restaurant. Start off your evening with a Cuban Mojito while perusing the menu. The selection includes a wide variety of seafood - my fave is the rum-glazed scallops!!! If you like Key Lime Pie, this is your just dessert! And, being a chocolate fan, I like the Chocolate Leches Cake.
The Como zoo is free and works mostly on donations, it is mainly out doors with several buildings for the animals: the fish house, the guerilla house, etc. In the center of things, there is a pool for the seals. You can feed the seals dixie cups of raw fish for a dollar. The polar bear jumps into the pool, swims in an arc, pushes off the viewing window (you can watch from indoors or outdoors). Como Zoo is located in a really convenient spot with other things to do in the park. You can spend an entire day here - take the kids, and bring strollers.
