Pine Springs is a great place to go. I attended there as a kid then worked as a college student. It has many camps for kids ranging in age from 4 yrs old -teens. they have a log church that is really neat to see. Pine spring is a camp run by the redstone presbytery.
I needed to have several teeth taken out and Dr. Tucker and his staff were very helpful. They showed me which ones needed taken and told me why. They called and checked on me as well as worked with me regarding insurances. The staff was pleasant and quick to answer my questions.
My husband took 2 handguns to them and they were quick to get the guns transferred for him. They answered his questions quickly and made it easy for him to fill out the paperwork. they are located off 136 close to Rt 51. I would use them again for my handgun needs.
Canoe on the run has the best chai on the lake. It is made from tea not a powdered mix. They also have great scones. they have pastries and a menu of sandwiches. They are located on the way in or on the way out. I make this my first stop when we are in deep creek.
PROS: easy to get to.
CONS: not open long enough
This is a small building that houses an eclectic and mismatched restaurant. Stopped for dinner and felt like I had walked into a throw back from the 1950's None of the chairs at our table matched. The food was good but pricey for what we got in the way of portions. The pie was soggy. The staff was friendly.
This restaurant and crafts shops is off the beat path in Grantsville. It has many people on site making their crafts. It is very educational for the whole family. they have brought in some original building and have a storyteller telling of the history. the food is homemade and very good. they have a buffet several nights a week.
This store has a large variety of cigarettes and cigars as well as smoking accessories. The employees are very easy to talk with. I have been buying my moms cigarettes there for about 3 months. They are in a plaza that has unique stores. they to seem be busy often when I stop there. They have reasonable prices.
PROS: Reasonable prices
This is a super place for food. they make gyros that are so big that they have to use a pizza box to send them out in. They are in an out of the way place between Barnes lake road and Rt 30 in North Huntingdon. They are quick to answer the phone for take out orders. I
PROS: Great food
CONS: out of the way location
This store has no customer service. They almost always get your order wrong. The staff is young and most don't want to be working.

CONS: bad service
