All Fired Up
All Fired Up is a great place to go on a rainy day when you are cooped up in the house with the kids. It is fun to get to come here and paint a piece of pottery any way you want to--even the very little kids can join in on this activity! The prices can be a little high here, but for a once-in-awhile activity, it isn't too bad. And, since it can be difficult to find things that young children can participate in, this is really great. They also offer classes and they can set up a party for you.
PROS: Fun for even young kids, exciting activity

Maple Lakes Campgrounds
Maple Lakes Campgrounds is a great place to go when you just want to get away from everything. You can really rough it and do tent camping (though they do have toilets and showers, so you wouldn't have to rough it too hard), or you can take your motor home vehicle for a little more comfort because they do have electricity and water hook-ups available. Maple Lakes is better than just camping in the woods, too, because they have planned activities, a swimming pool, fishing, and a picnic shelter. The rates are quite reasonable, so this is a great spur-of-the-moment getaway.

Grismer's Christian Gifts
Unlike the name of the store suggests, Grismers Christian Gifts doesn't only sell gifts of a Christian nature. They sell many general religious items that would be appropriate for any faith. They also offer items that are specifically for other faiths such as Judiasm, Catholocism, Hinduism, and more. They have bibles, of course, and they have other religious texts and novels. Grismers also has a good selection of religious jewelry, collectibles, and house decorations. If you are purchasing a gift for anyone who celebrates their religion, stop at Grismer's Christian Gifts and you will be sure to find the perfect gift.

Ohio Holistic Medicine
At Ohio Holistic Medicine, you have a lot of options for your health care, all of which are non-invasive. They offer acupuncture, which they are very skilled at, as well as Chinese Massage, and Biofeedback. The practicioners here work with you to manage your physical, mental, and emotional health on an individual basis--they actually take the time to sit and talk with you about your choices and what might work best for you and how to help you. Many of the services they offer can be somewhat costly, but that is generally the case with any holistic medicine center because much of it isn't covered by insurance. But, this center is willing to work with you to make payment arrangements so that you can get the care that you need.

Dettling Florist
Dettling Florist is one of those businesses that is tucked away in a downtown building, and a lot of people don't even notice that it is there. But, you should make a point of trying to deal with this florist the next time you need any floral arrangement because not only are their arrangements beautiful and unique, they are well-priced as well. The desingers at this shop will listen to what kind of arrangement you are looking for, and then they go above and beyond to make it even more special than you had imagined. They offer delivery, too, as any florist does. Give them a try and you will not be disappointed.

Ridgewood Stables
Ridgewood stables has day and evening classes for beginners, intermediate riders, and advanced riders. Their trainers can teach anyone to be comfortable just riding horses, or they can get into more difficult areas such as learning to do jumps. They have both a large outdoor training area as well as an indoor area, so lessons can be given in any type of weather. Parents are welcome to wait during their child's lesson in a comfortable heated lounge. The lessons are reasonably priced, and the trainers are all very skilled and friendly.

Kim's College Of Martial Arts
Kims College of Martial Arts has classes for any age, from young children up to older adults. Their skilled instructors can teach people of any skill level, and their classes are designed to help build confidence and self-discipline as well as teaching self-defense and fitness. We like to come here as a family activity because everyone can join in on the fun. They offer a free trial class, too, so you can give them a try with no obligations and no cost. It is a bit of a drive to get to their location, but very much worth it.

Designer Gift Baskets & Floral
Designer Gift Baskets & Floral will specially design any kind of gift basket you need for any occasion. They do a lot of corporate orders, but they are also available for consumer orders. They can make baskets with specialty foods, flowers, fruit, candies, and more--they will design a basket to fit your needs. And, they can deliver the basket for you locally or anywhere across the nation (for an extra fee, of course). Now, because their baskets are custom-designed, they do tend to be on the more expensive side, but if you are looking for a gift for the person who has everything, give this store a try.

Shisler's Cheese House
At Shislers Cheese House, you can find some great deli meats and cheeses--they have an extensive selection and they will always let you do a taste test before you make your choice as to what to purchase. They also sell freshly made deli sandwiches, so this is a great lunch stop if you are looking for something different. Gift baskets are available, though they can be kind of pricey--but, the contents are so delicious, they are worth the cost. Shislers also selss wine and craft beer. Everyone that works here is extra friendly, so it is always a pleasure to shop here.

Kenmore Co
As the name of the store suggests, this place sells comic books. They sell the latest issues to come off of the presses for many different series--popular ones from Marvel, for example, as well as some that may not be so familiar to most people. Kenmore Komics also sells collectors editions of comic books, and they may be willing to buy yours. Manga (Japanese comics) is also available. They also sell trading cards for many popular games such as Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, and Magic the Gathering--they have collectors cards of these as well. Obviously, the prices vary with what you are purchasing--collector items will be on the pricier side, whereas current editions of comics will be at a lower price. This store is a definite must for any comic, manga, or trading card lover--you won't be disappointed.
