Salty's On Alki Beach Seafood Grill
Another great place to eat if you have the cash and time. There are two Salty's one in Redondo and the one on Alki. The one on Alki offers one of the best dinings views of downtown. The prices are very steep but the ambiance is world class. Try the seafood it is fresh from the local markets. The bar is also nice.
Canlis
One of my favorite places to eat. The prices are high but this is quility gourmet at its finest. You can eat some of the best dishes that Seattle has to offer. Everything has a Northwest flair including the great decor. Located just before the Aurora bridge it also offers a great view of the ship canal.
Argosy Cruises
I like our native heritage and I think everyone should try to take a trip to the village. It offers a great boat ride and so so food. If nothing else it is a good way to see the puget sound and listen to a little local indian folklore. The price is kind of steep and that is why I give it a 3 star and not 4.
Pike Place Market
If you are a local or a tourist this is the place for all things Seattle. I like going here for all the fresh food and great shopping. It also makes a great spot for people watching. The top level has of course the world class fish market but I like downstairs because it has some great shops. Comics, smoke shop etc etc.
Mountain Maddness
I love nature and the best way to see it is treking with one of Washington's premiere mountain companies. They offer something for everyone. Overnights and week long treks. If you want to climb the mountain of life then sometimes you need to see the world from the top of a mountain. Their staff will help guide you on whatever path you wish to take. Loads of local mountains Baker, Ranier and the cascade range.
Alpine Adventures Wild & Scenic River Tours
A spendy place if you are going for the nines. Two of the best places to eat in Seattle are Canlis and Palisades. Canlis has the history and the food is gourmet at its finest. It is well worth the price on the menu. They offer something (Except cheap dishes) and the seafood is local.
Lake Union Crew
If you love the open water and a real sport that helps all the right muscles then you should try Lake union crew club. The membership prices are not to steep and the team building and health benefits are top notch. The have many great facilities and the gear is A++ good. Don't forget your tutleneck this is not a dinner cruise.
Balloon Depot
if you like adventure like I do this place is A W S O M E. There is nothing as relaxing as a balloon ride. Sail on the winds and watch the sunset from above the clouds. You and 4-8 of your friends could enjoy something that I though was breathtaking. The staff was great and they fed you. They do not have a set address due to wind conditions but theyare more than happy to tell you how to get there if you call them. It is not that far from Seattle and well worth the trip.
Woodland Park Zoo
Though one has to wonder how the African animals deal with the rain? I was lucky enough to visit this place when the baby gorillas were born. Lots of great stuff to see and the animals seems very happy. I am not a big fan of taking wildlife from the wild but this zoo takes pride in treating the animals with the greatest care.
Seattle Aquarium
Great place to spend a rain soaked Northwest afternoon. The Seattle Aquarium has some great stuff to see and touch. I like this place because they care about our environment and they make an effort to teach people about the bounty of the sound. Sea otters, Jelly fish and all kinds of other crazy sea creatures just waiting for your enjoyment. I really enjoy putting the "petting zoo" (Of sorts) it is great if you are on a date.
