Carolyn's Country Cousins
This is a fun outdoor family experience! We go here every year with our family and always have a great time. They have a pumpkin patch where you can pick out your own punpkin. They also have a maze made out of bays of hay as well as other activities including: face painting and farm animals. The kids always love it. It is a fun way to get the fall season started. They are only open during the fall so go in september or october. You and your family will have a great time.
Stephenson's Fruit Market
Stephensons is an orchard that has been around for a long time. They are best known for the apples. You can go out in the orchard and pick them yourself. This is a fun tradition that we do every year. They also have fruits you can pick in the late spring and summer. They give you a basket and let you have at it. They have acres of orhards. They also sell the fruit already picked if you don't want to pick them yourself. This is a fun outdoor family activity. I highly recommend to do something fun and different.
Beauty Express
I have never gotten my haircut here, but I do buy alot of my hair products here. I find there prices are a little better and they offer coupons. They carry a large variety of hair care lines. The staff is always helpful in helping me pick out what I need. They will introduce me to new products for my type of hair. I am almost always happy with the products they recommend. That is another reason I will continue to shop here. I recommend if you need help picking out your hair care products.
Totally Silver
If you love silver jewelry like I do than you will love this store. It is tucked away in a strip mall and a little hard to find, but it is well worth the hunt. They have bracelets, watches rings and necklaces as well as other accessories. There merchandise is very unique. I have not seen anything like it at other stores. This is a great place to find a special gift. I purchased a really pretty ring there at a good price. I get compliments on it all of the time. People always ask me where I got it. If you like silver, you need to go here.
Chapel Ridge Banquet Ctr
This course, tucked in between subdivisions in between Lee's Summit and Independence off of interstate 470 offers challenges for beginning and advanced players. It is open year round, to satisfy all of your winter golfing needs. The pro-shop staff is nice and they offer a wide range of golf apparel and equipment. I thought the fees were very reasonable and had a good experience here.
Cockerell & Mc Intosh Pdtrcs
When we had my son we first chose this group as our pediatrician. We just weren't that impressed with the doctors personality. She seemed very hurried and slightly annoyed at my questions. We had heard mixed reviews but decided to try it anyway because it was close to my house. After the initial visit we decided to go to a new pediatrician. As a first time mom I did't want to feel uncomfortable with my babies pediatricain. I am now very happy with the new one. I wouldn't recommend.
Farview Veterinary Hospital
We decided to take our cat here to have her teeth cleaned because they were about half the price of what our vet was going to charge. They were recommended to us by someone. The faciltiy is a little small, but we really liked the doctor. They seemed to take good care of her. They kept her overnight after the surgery. We thought they did a good job. We felt like she was in good hands. We would definitley go here again. There prices are very reasonable. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a vet.
Earl May Nursery & Garden Ctr
This is a really neat garden center that has a little bit of everything. They have a lot of bird food and supplies as well as garden supplies and plants. They also have many unique gift items. I always end up spending a long time in this store. Last spring I bought all of my annuals there and probably will again this year. The staff was really helpful in helping me pick the right ones out. They have some really neat pots and fountains too. If you are looking to do outdoor work this is the place to go.
Wild Bird Ctr
This is a great place to get bird supplies. They have tons of stuff. This is a very unique store. They have some very nice bird feeders. We have had one from there for 6 years and it is still working very well. They have all types of bird food to attract different types of birds. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. They seem to know alot about birds. They have a nice selection of bird books as well. This is great place to get a gift for a bird lover. There prices are very resonable. I recommend to anyone who enjoys birds.
Dog's Day Out
We have taken our dog here for a long time. They have always done a good job grooming him. He has a difficult cut and they always get it just right. He comes home happy and looking so cute and smelling wonderful. They always put an adorable bandana on him when they are finished. We always try to have the same person groom him as we have had good luck with her. I can't imaging taking my dog anywhere else. I know of quite a few people who are also very happy with their servies. Thier prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend!
