Umkc
UMKC is an OK university with its highlights:
I hear from my friends in the conservatory that it has a good music program.
It is one of the few six year medical programs in the country, which makes this university very unique.
However, the cafeteria and the dorms are not well-kept and the food at the cafeteria, frankly, is not great at all.
It is also a fairly expensive place to go to school.
Taco Bell
This Taco Bell has bullet proof glass in the drive-through if that tells you anything right off the bat. It is very dirty and they cannot take orders right at all.
My friend wanted a chalupa with chicken instead of beef, but they filled all 3 of them with beef and charged him for 3 chicken chalupas (which as most of you probably already know are much more expensive). Not a good place to eat.
Express
What I really like about most Expresses is the fact that their customer service "agents" (or whatever you want to call them--the employees) are so helpful. I was very happy about my experience there.
Unfortuantely, as at most Expresses, the clothing was very expensive (the cheapest thing in the men's part was probably $15). However, the quality is pretty good.
Starbucks Coffee
Starbucks, as we all know is a pretty expensive place. I would love to go there everyday because they have pretty good drinks, but I would be broke after a week of going there, so I cannot do that. However, this Starbucks is a great place to relax with friends and study, which is why I go there all the time.
Unfortunately, it seems to be packed all of the time, so keep that in mind when you are going there.
South Noland Rd Driving Range
This place is pretty cheap to hit golf balls, especially if you go with friends because they have a two for one deal where you pay for one bucket of balls (any size, any price) and you get the second bucket (of equal or lesser value) half off.
Have fun finding the place though because the people who work there have no sense of direction whatsoever.
It is not pretty, but it gets the job done (even though it is not in a great area).
