Ikea

IKEA has anything and everything you could possibly want for the home, patio, garage, ect. You will find things in this warehouse that you need but didn't even know existed. I have bought most of my furniture from IKEA and have been very happy with the quality as well as the customer service given in the warehouse.

Half Price Books

I sure don't. I love half price books. The thought of recycling books is wonderful to me. The best thing about them is their childrens section. This is a place you can take children to read books and hang out just like Barnes and Noble or the library. Then you can buy the books for at least half price, most times more than that.

The children are always happy to have a new book.

Hollywood Video

Everytime we enter we hear "Welcome to Hollywood." We always chuckle even though we are used to it by now. The best thing about Hollywood Video is the MVP offer. If you pay $10 per month, you can rent up to three videos at a time that are on the list. Of course, brand new releases are not on the list but after a couple of weeks they are added to this list and it's worth the wait. I've saved a ton of money!

Romax

My girlfriend wanted a really nice, comfortable pair of shoes that she could wear casually and dressy. She pointed a pair out as we passed by the Romax store so I surprised her. Unfortunately, the shoes broke the second day. She returned them and was given another pair without delay. The second pair broke too. Apparently, they were having a problem with this particular shoe having a soft spot.

Romax was wonderful. The let her pick out a different pair and were really nice about. The shoes are Dansko and she loves them.

Sports Authority

I was looking for a really great pair of blades to go really fast on. I found them. I rolled around the store and tried on about ten pairs. Funny, the pair I wanted were even on sale. I've had them for about two years now and they're still great. Of course, I do live in Seattle so I can only use them three months out of the year but that's beside the point. :)

Downtown Automotive

My girlfriend took her car in because the gas tank wouldn't except any gas. These guys totally took advantage of her. She was supposed to get a discout for being a college student and they didn't give it to her. They made some excuse about not charging her all of the hourly wage they were supposed to.

The car was not fixed and they refused to refund money or look at it again unless she paid. Don't even think about. It's not worth it.

It's very important to us to get Santa photos taken of our son every year. We have found the best Santa and the best pictures all in one. If you go to Nordstrom in downtown Seattle during Christmas, you will get the best picture taken that you could imagine. We've gone two years in a row now and will continue until our son refuses!

Zales

I bought my girlfriend the most beautiful pink sapphire necklace with a white gold chain for Christmas. I had no idea what I was looking for when I was looking but immediately fell in love with the piece I ended up with. I wasn't sure she would like it but bought it with the hopes she would. When my girlfriend and I returned to the store to see what they had to match the necklace the woman told us that the chain should be upgraded so it would not break.

She was so wonderful and wasn't just out to make a sale. She told us what would be better for my girlfriends activity level so she wouldn't lose the necklace. We decided to go somewhere else to purchase the chain but got out knowledge from Zales. I have been extremely happy with purchase.

Pacific Supply

O'h man, I was spending way too much money before I checked these guys out. I had been buying my florescent bulbs at the Ace Hardware store or True Value that is close to my house. The lights were $6.99. I found them in bulk for $1.40 each at Pacific Supply. They really hooked me up.

That Kitchen Shop

Okay, this place has anything you could ever want for your kitchen that you would not normally find at Target or The Bon. I was looking for a nice steamer pan for vegetables and decided to check it out as I passed by. The staff was excellent in helping find what I needed. Unfortunately, they did not point out that I had picked up the incorrect pan. Oops. Life goes on.
