Seattle, WA Book Stores 04/25/05: 'Atmosphere'

I love Elliott Bay Books. I don't always like
the parking but on Saturdays its not too
bad. I think this store is great for a movie
set if one is to appreciate that old brick
look of Seattle.

Olga's is a great cafe for Russian food and
delicious speciality dishes. You can often
find a daily special but all the food is
excellent. I grew up with Russian food
and this is like grandma's!

The European Cafe has some great Russian
and Ukranian dishes that are straight from
Eastern Europe. The prices are good. Its
a warm place that makes you feel like
you are in another country.

The Keg has wonderful steaks, seafood,
and those onion rings. I think for what
you get, its a good bargain. For lunch
they have excellent caesar salads and
also a good blt with thick bread and
thick bacon.

The Charlestown Cafe has the best beyond
a doubt, the best clam chowder in Seattle.
Actually they have won the New England
Clam Chowder cook off a couple of years
in a row. Believe it or not, Clam chowder
kings in West Seattle.

Lee Brothers has a great studio of the study
of Martical arts. No matter how young or
old you are, I learned some great things
by going in and taking a couple of lessons
and learning about the different arts.

kitchen gagets and kitchen items. Its amazing
what you can find for cooking and all types

If you are in West Seattle area and need
some keys made, do not go to the local
hardware store. I have had horrible luck
with keys. Use Alki Key, they are the
best and reliable also.

tower records

I like Tower Records and I like the new store.
Their collection of especially classical music
is great. Probably one of the best in Seattle.
I do miss the old location, it was an easy
on and off 99.
