I absolutely love Hopeline. Not only is it the best place to find bargains on kids clothes, but the money they raise goes to a good cause. All the proceeds go towards women facing domestic violence. I go there often, looking for various items. They have books, clothes, furniture, just about anything you want. Last week I found my daughter several almost new dresses for church, and they were only a few dollars each.
Although the tanning facilities at Utopia are nice. Its the location that kills it for me. The staff are friendly, and seem to know what they are talking about. But, it is very hard to find parking downtown to use this tanning salon. The prices are not competitive enough for the extra trouble that the parking causes. I used it one time, and then decided that there was nothing exceptional about it to make it worth the effort.
I have to say I wouldn't recommend this place. Even though I had an appointment, I still ended up waiting for a good while. I explained what I wanted to the girl, she told me she understood, but when she was done it was obvious she hadn't understood, but by then it was too late. I have to say even though the prices are good, its not worth it to me.
I can't say enough about Atlantic Screenprint. Our church has placed several orders with them. Our most recent being our softball league shirts. Even though I got the order into them late, they were able to finish our shirts in less than 2 weeks, at no extra cost. They do great work, and the shirts always look great. I highly recommend them. They are a little hard to find, but once you do, they are worth the few extra minutes it takes to get to them.
ABC Seamless siding & Gutters is a great company. They fixed our gutters, and did a great job. Their staff are very friendly and helpful. When we had some storm damage to the house, they came out fast and did the repairs. They are very reasonable in price also. I would have to recommend them for all of your gutter and siding needs.
This is the company that built my mothers house. The quality is very poor. For the money they paid for the house, you would have expected better quality. There were several things wrong with it, and when we tried to get them to come out and fix the problems all we got was the run around.
I can't say enough about The Fitness Warehouse. They are a full gym upstairs, and downstairs they have a women's only section, similar to curves. They also have tanning. In fact, they have one of the strongest tanning booths I have been in. I love to tan in their booth. It only takes about 9 mins to get the full effect. They are very clean, and well kept. The owner Kim, is one of the nicest people you will meet.
Sunsational Tan is great, because you can get all of your beauty needs in one stop. They have tanning, nails, and beauty salon, all in the same office. The owner is very nice, as are all of his workers. I like going there to tan, I can get an early morning appointment, or a late night one, depending on my schedule for that day. In fact the first time I went there, he gave me 2 tanning sessions for free.
If you don't mind students working on you, then you can't beat the COA beauty school. The prices are awesome. I had my hair colored there. I wanted three different colors highlighted in. In a regular beauty shop, this would have cost over $100. It only cost me $32 and they did a wonderful job. The teacher is right there to answer any questions, and to check the hair over for mistakes.
I just recently went to Kristins Kabana, and I have to say I am happy with my cut. She seemed to understand what I wanted, and gave me a nice looking haircut. The place is really easy to find a parking spot, which is a real plus for me. Right now they are offering the coolest promotion, you can sign up to be a tester. They will draw a name out of the pile each week, and if you have agreed to be a tester, they will give you a new style for free.
