I attended Fisher for two years, off campus at the now defunct Duxbury campus. The staff was friendly and helpful. The instructors however were merely passable. They are not experts in their field of study, and therefore are just teaching what is in the textbooks; not exactly a real college experience.
I used to go to this station 35 years ago, and something that has been in business that long, can't be anything but great. We haven't been by there in over a year, but it is a small well run station, with reasonable prices (for the area.)
We had to have our windshield replaced after it was shattered by a rock. It was done in a timely manner, the price was reasonable, and the job was done right. What more could you ask for? They also take care of moving your inspection sticker, and sealing it with an official seal.
Don't you hate it when you lose a hubcap? Well, this place can help. Great selection of single hubcaps, or you can get a set if you are changing all four. So don't fret when you lose a hubcap, go to Hubcap Heaven, where all good hubcaps end up.
I grew up within view of this great service station. The family owned this and the general store across the street, and my Mom worked at the store when I was small. They are fast and friendly, and very trustworthy. You cannot go wrong at Bennett's.
We have used Andy's in the past, to remove junk cars to be salvaged. They are reasonably priced, and the drivers are good at what they do. They are friendly and professional at the same time. If you have to pay for a tow, choose Andy's.
We have AAA, and so are generally issued a tow company whenever there is a problem. That is how we found GT Towing. The drivers are knowledgable and courteous, going out of their way to assure your safety and comfort on the ride. We would ask for them in the future, even if we had to wait, or maybe even pay an extra fee. They are just that good.
We took the whale watch tour with Captain Tim Brady and Sons aboard the 'Mary Elizabeth.' This low riding boat gives a 'Whales Eye View' of all the gentle creatures you may get to meet. They visit a national marine sanctuary giving you the chance to see several different species of whales, dolphins, and sea turtles.
This Church has many fundraisers throughout the year, and use it to provide food and other basic needs to the people of its parish, whether they are Catholic or not. They help many members of the community that are not members of their parish. They deliver boxes of food to the poor elders in the community on a monthly basis, not just at the holidays. They have a wonderful selection of organists, and they all play wonderfully. Go, listen to the choir sing along with the organist, attend a fundraiser, listen to a sermon or two.
The company I used to work for uses this limousine company exculsively for all of their out of town business travelers. They are always just a phone call away, are very prompt, will give time estimates if you don't know, have pristine cars and limos, and the driving staff is professional and dress that way. If you need a business client picked up at the airport, send Red Rose Limo. They also have town cars for casual business, or personal use. They make a great airport run, and pickup.
