This place has been around forever. It is a quaint little gaming parlor, where you try to put rubber balls into holes to match bingo patterns. The 'machine' is a wooden contraption that sort of resembles a pinball machine. The playing area is five rows of five holes in a square formation. These holes are just barely bigger than the ball, making it a skill based game. The playing area is covered in plexiglass, but at the bottom is open, and below that there is a 'drawer' where the balls gather. You pay a dime to play, unless it is a special game, and when the bell rings you take the balls, one at a time, out of the drawer, and bowl them toward the holes in the playing field. When your ball drops through the hole, a light lights up on the board in front of you. The game ends when someone matches the pattern for that game, and they receive their prize, just like in Bingo.
This is a great place to relax and have fun for an evening without breaking your wallet. Just be sure not to sit in one of the regulars seats, or you will receive uncomfortable stares, if not outright verbal indignation.
This is actually our family attorney. He handled everything when my Father in Law died, the probate and everything, and helped us protect the house under the Homestead Act. He also handled my bankruptcy, and everything has been completed with a minimum of hassle on our parts. He is never too busy to get back to you on any issues you may have, and is also available by e-mail, which can be very handy if you are a busy person.
We have several cats, and we take all the males to Roberts. We have some rather old cats, our oldest was 21, but we have an 18 year old now. Doctor Went is very good with geriatric cats, and seems to care very much for her pet patients. You can see the love in her eyes when she is examining your pet. Our 21 year old 'Grant' loved her, and would purr loudly and butt her face as she valiantly tried to examine him. This is not to say that the rest of the Veterinarians are less qualified, we would take our pets to any doctor working there. The support staff is also wonderful, and caring. They are available 24/7 making it the only veterinarian you will need.
We have taken our one female cat here twice. The first was to have her spayed. They did a wonderful job on the surgery, and both the doctor and the staff were wonderful. The second time she had a lump on her chin, and the doctor found that she had a subcutaneous cyst, which he drained and sent her on her way. He treated her gently, and though she is normally afraid of men, she was calm with him.
This is where we always stay when we travel to Orlando. It is on a little side street, right off of the John Young Highway, making it easy to find. There is a large strip mall right down the street, and several restaurants close by. The rooms are always clean, and have full kitchenettes in the room. Full size fridge, stove top burners, microwave, stocked with plates, cups, mugs, cutlery, pots and pans. Great way to save money to extend the vacation by dining out less. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only caveat is that they only come into your room twice a week. Other than that you need to make your own bed and dump your own trash. If you need towels or anything though, they are just a call away, and ready to please.
This property used to be a Howard Johnson Inn. They have done some wonderful renovations on it, and the indoor pool area is like a rainforest. The rooms are clean, and the housekeeping staff is efficient. The restaurant out front is now a Bickford's Grille.
I have seen both Doctor Zabilski, and Doctor Stanwood. Zabilski is a hip specialist, and Stanwood works on shoulders. Both have great 'bedside' manner. The office is clean and bright, and the staff is helpful and friendly. They have thier own x-ray lab, so they can be done right there, and there is a blood draw lab upstairs should you need blood tests.
These guys can fix any computer problem you can throw at them. They also build custom computers, offer website hosting, internet access, and networking. They even offer emergency services for an extra fee.
