Bickerton John Md - Primary Care Specialists
Dr. Bickerton has a great bedside manner with his patients and our whole family has gone to him for many year, so he has watched our kids grow up. He listens to you and takes the time needed for your visit whether you are there for a well check-up or you are ill. Very helpful in giving samples of medicines needed until you can fill your prescription.
PROS: Convenient location.
CONS: Hard to get appointments sometimes when needed as their office stays busy.
Dr. Carl Gaterbaum
I have seen this Optemetrist since first moving to town and have followed their moves over the years to their present location. Dr. Gaterbaum and staff are friendly and take their time with each and every patient as if you are their only one, even with others waiting for their appointment. He has a way with his patients without the lectures and yet you leave wanting to follow his medical advice.
PROS: Very pleasant doctor.
CONS: Not a convenient location to where I live.
Sheraton-Orlando North
This hotel has large areas for seating on each floor. They offer a nice ballroom for special events. The location is ok and the rooms themselves have mold and many have gotten sick from staying there.
PROS: Nice size areas to lounge around with large hallways near the rooms.
CONS: Moldy smell and so many have gotten ill after staying overnight.
Arthurs 27
This is fine dining at its best. Restaurant has a rotating dining room on the 27th floor and you can see downtown Orlando in the distance. You have your own private waiter that meets every need yet stays in the shadows for you to enjoy the most private dining of a seven course meal.
PROS: Fine dining with your own intimate private table and personal waiter.
CONS: Very expensive.
The Flower Nook
This has been one of our families' favorite places to shop for flowers both because of convenience and the friendly staff. They have been in business for 25 years time and in the same location. They are always willing to help with your needs and whatever your budget allows.
PROS: Convenient and deliver all over the area.
CONS: Flowers have gone up in price.
Planet Beach
This tanning salon has a friendly staff. This salon has high quality tanning beds, which offer both lay down or stand up booths. Their hours of operation are open late for your convenience. Reservations are recommended or at least call ahead so you don't have to wait.
PROS: Nice high quality tanning beds.
CONS: If on a contract you are billed whether you use their services or not.
Barney's Steak & Seafood
This restaurant has been around for many years and is one of my favorite places to dine. The food is delicious, especially the mouth watering tender filet mignon. Their salad bar offers a great variety of salads You must leave room for dessert and try their famous banana cream pie. I enjoy the ambience this restaurant offers with the piano music adding such a romantic touch. You can retreat to the Atrium for an after dinner drink or come early and wait in there while waiting for your table. Reservations are recommended. We have gone without one with about a 30 minute wait.
PROS: Excellent steaks and a fine dining experience.
CONS: Their prices have gone up.
