Living in a small rural area, this is one of a few news papers that are avaible to us. The Banner Press comes out bi-weekly with information on current events, church information, school information, sports, and hunting events and news, as well as classifieds. This small News Paper can give "the big guys" a run for their money.
PROS: Local Area News, Events, & More
CONS: Small town newspaper. Otherwise N/A.

CONS: Usually a busy pharmacy.
The reason for me giving this business such a low rating is for the following reason. My daughter age 7 started having a severe toothache, I called the dentists office she see's on a regular basis, they in turn referred us to the offices of David S. Johnson, and Jayne F. Scherrman. I was impressed at the speed of them setting her appt. She got an appointment for the next day, we arrived and all went GREAT for my daughter. They (Dentist & His Assistant) said it was in her best of interests to wait a couple more days before pulling the tooth, adding a crown, and a spacer. (Understandable) So the next appointment was made to take her back for the actual dental work. We arrived at the appointment to have the work done on my daughters teeth. It's rather common for a dentists office to ask the parent(s) to stay in the waiting room while their child(ren) are having dental work done for many reasons. Very understandable. They called my daughter back, and I waited. While waiting I seen an older child aprox. age of 12 .... he come out from having dental work done, and was sobbing in tears. My first thought was "OH NO! ", I dismissed this, as many children having fears. I waited a bit longer and suddenly hear my daughter SCREAMING !!! I went calmly to the desk and insisted she find out what's going on. She returned a couple of minutes later and said "Oh, it's all ok, they just extracted her tooth". In reply I said (kindly, and calmly.) that I have had teeth pulled before and NEVER had pain on that level. Animosity arose from the receptionist. And again I dismissed this. Thinking that possibly my daugher was upset at the tug of removing the tooth. Another bit of time passed, aprox. 10-15 mins. A nurse come out that we seen on the previous appt. I asked her to please find out what was going on, how my daughter was going, etc,.... As she opened her mouth to speak, my daughter again began screaming frantically "MOM, STOP, NO, IT HURTS". My 7 year old was frantic enough for the E.R
PROS: Fast appointment times.
CONS: SCARES CHILDREN FROM EVER SEEING ANOTHER DENTIST ! Did not give pain meds.
Staff is organized, and knows majority of children on a glance. Works well with parents. Clean parking area, bus area is safe, free of trash, playground is not asphalt. Has special ed classes, and staff for challenged students.
PROS: Rural Area School
CONS: Long Drive
I have been a patient here for aprox. 5 years. Dr. seems to be overly concerned with whether a medication can be sold "on the streets". This to me is upsetting, and rather bothersome to hear coming from a professional. Often times the Dr. is overwhelmed with numerous patients and is snippy. Receptionist in the front seems very indecisive. Is very time consuming to contact or have a nurse/Dr. contact you back. Very poor skills with paper work. MANY times I have encountered with them losing paper work for medications being sent from pharmacutical company. Other Dr. in office is laid back, and seems to care about asking you questions about your complaint. Parking is good, location is good. Clean. Overall besides above mentioned complaints this office is a good one. The other staff seem to know what they are doing, and are friendly with you as a person and a patient. They also offer dental care at this location. If you don't have insurance they have "a sliding scale" to assist you with getting care.
PROS: Overall Great Staff.
CONS: Overwhelmed With Patients.
Not always the fastest in the business. Usually rather clean parking area. Many times the music from speakers is way too loud when ordering/eating. Must ask for napkins, and condiments, they are not offered. Car hop is usually very friendly, and courtieous.
PROS: Fast, Convenient.
CONS: Loud Over Head Speakers.
