This is my favorite restaurant for Sunday Brunch. We have gone at all times of the morning afternoon, and have been seated immediately. Brunch lasts until 2:00pm, and has a wide variety of food you can't possibly fit it all on your plate. From a custom made omlette to a Belgian Waffle Bar, an array of standard mexican dishes, salads, soups, desserts. The restaurant is located in Long Beach Town Center, it's a great place to stop in before or after shopping or seeing a movie.
PROS: Quick service, not usually crowded
CONS: Not my favorite for dinner, but still good.
The people here are great! The food is good, and different from many restaurant / fast food style chains. I can eat there every day (which sometimes I do!) and have something different. They have a large variety of burritos, tostadas (huge!) and platters, with a different special every day! A little pricey, but good. Every order comes with tastada-style fried tortillas and fresh salsa. This is a taco stand design, so eat in or on the patio, or take it to go.
PROS: Quick, good food
CONS: A little pricey for take out
This place was recommended to me by a friend, and they really came through! They are one of the few places that will tell you if nothing is wrong, and not charge you! They even picked me up from my house when my car was ready! This is a small single owner shop, who is really there to help you out.
PROS: Open early, 6 days a week.
CONS: A little busy sometimes
This business is a couple doors down from where I work, and they give me the star treatment! I've had one radiator replaced, and he's quick and honest. When I was having problems with a different car, he told me it was not the radiator, and referred me to another local mechanic. Before he gave back my car, he filled up my fluids and didn't charge me for the inspection. Would definitely bring the car back again. The prices were comparable to other radiator shops.
PROS: Quick, affordable
CONS: none known
Great Hawaiian food. Good restaurant for the family. They have a catering menu for small - large parties, eat in their restaurant or order out. Family meals are reasonably priced (less than $10/person), and serve 4-5 people with leftovers! Better than L & L BBQ. Hawaiian style fried chicken is their specialty, and will soon be your favorite! Sweet, tender, bite-size pieces. Other menu items include Teriyaki chicken & beef, Korean style chicken or beef, Kalua Pork, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Spam Masubi (spam & rice wrapped in seaweed).
PROS: Caters, eat in restaurant or take-out.
CONS: No substitutions on family dinner choices.
