Children's Place
Very nice store for kids under 10 years old. They have a very nice selection and the prices are very reasonable. They do not cater to upscale names, but for the times where you just want play clothes, this is the place for you.
Annie Sez
Annie Sez is a great store for that 20 something that is going into the work force. They have cute little outfits for the work place at great prices. Their store has a wide selection of other types of dress as well. Very good prices.
Gap
The gap is a cute store for people that care about names and blowing $50 on a shirt that is worth $5, but do so only because of the name. They do keep the store very nice and there are many sales associates to help you with picking something out.
CVS
Great chain drug store. They accept manufacturer's coupons and run great sales all year round. They also stock seasonal merchandise at discounted prices. Watch for their after holiday sales which they mark down their prices up to 90% off.
Eckerd
I love Eckerd. Great store that has all things you would need when you are sick. Great staff, nice store and the parking lot is well lit and the carts are always corralled. They also take manufacture's coupons and have great sales. Recommend highly.
Radio Shack
How these guys stay in business is beyond me. They have parts for everything, except they just sold out of that piece you were looking for. There name batteries are also not very good. They are about the equivalent to dollar store batteries. And why do they ask you for your zip code and number?
Majors Records & Video
I can't believe these guys are still in business. The cds that they sell (or don't) are all priced above $20 each. $20 EACH!! That is insane. I could understand if they were collectibles, but these are regular cds. They have a large selection, but I don't see how or why people would buy from them. Go to best buy.
Christopher Michael Salon Inc
This is one place to stay away from. Me and my girlfriend went there for a girls day out. We had pedicures and manicures done, paid and left. The next day my friend was in so much pain from the manicure she went to the doctor. Her nail bed was infected from them using dirty instruments. Stay away unless you like doctor visits.
Shopriteof East Brunswick Pizza & Snack Bar
Nice store, wish it was better lit at night. They double coupons to .99 and rarely triple coupons to .99. Their sales have been lacking the last couple of months and I have been shopping at pathmark or A&P. They also have an aisle dedicated to kosher for passover items, if that is your thing. Their carts are very old and rusty with wobbling wheels. I wish they would update their store and carts.
Macy's
Very nice upscale store. When I first set up my apartment Macy's was the best place to go, especially in January when they have their white sale. They also have very upscale kitchen items in their "cellar." Everything you think you need, they have a department for it. Shoes, sunglasses, fragrance/makeup, mens, womans and even children clothes, among many other departments. They always have a great sale going on. Check the flyer when you walk in to make the best of it.
