This is not the first time I was patronizing this place. I hadn't been there for about 4 months. They advertised on the cover of Fontana Coupon Clipper which was delivered to our mailbox earlier this week. At the bottom of the advertising there were 4 coupons. One of which was "Buy one entree and 2 drinks, get a second entree free" We thought this was a good deal and decided to go to Paisano's for dinner on Saturday night. First, upon entering the restaurant, there was a sign saying buy one get one free coupon had an error and asked to talk to the manager. When we asked about the error to the greeter, she told us that it should have read, valid Monday thru Thursday but it was not printed there. I know I should have walked out from a dishonest place like this on the spot but it was getting late and said to my spouse, we can use one of the other 3 coupons and asked to be seated. After being ignored close to 10 minutes at the table, the greeter came and told us that
"none of the coupons were valid on Saturday"
This did not sound like a honest mistake. It was the manager taking advantage of the deceptive advertising. When I go out with my spouse, our dinner bill is usually $50 or above after the coupons and discounts at any place, not including the tip. Tonight, I was so pissed, our total dinner bill was not even $30 including the tip.
Oh, I forgot, the lasagna carne we ordered, well, let's say, I have had soup thicker than the glop they served as lasagna.
Needless to say I am not going back there, ever. I advise you not to patronize this place neither. Good business person knows when to eat up their mistakes, not take advantage of people. I am sure I was not the only person who were al ittle more than miffed at them tonight and I hope everyone voices their displeasure.
I have found these guys by advice from a colleague at work and used them to lay network wiring at one of my relative's rather old house. Their people are not run off the mill. They know what they are doing. I was completely satisfied with the service.
I decided to take my mom for a manicure at this place and found their business practices unfair. My mom can not speak English and I was waiting for her outside in the car. They were not doing a good job and she tried to tell them to call me for translation and they acted like they did not understand, even though I told them to do so in case there are any questions. The workmanship was not very good and I may be mistaken but the price that gave me on the phone was cheaper than what they charged me that day. I don;t think I will be repeat customer.
Well, it is something you have to do every other year if you have a relatively new vehicle. I had to take mine in last month. When I got there, there were no other cars. They took mine in and worked on it diligently. It took me less than an hour from rolling in to getting out with my certificate in my hand. It is an okay place to go to when you are in need.
If you are looking for variety, move on, this is not the place. If you want a drink in the wee hours of the night and in the neighborhood, it is a good place. I am not sure if it is my luck but the cashier was acting very skiddish as I was going to do something bad. He was following me with frantic eyes as I was deciding what to get.
SC design is what our builder chose to work with our new home's flooring options. I had to visit them to select even the default flooring which came with the house. We were contemplating about getting a ceramic tile flooring instead of the linoleum. The price difference presented to us was more than 3 times that of the free market value of the same workmanship and materials cost. They are working on the premises that since you will build the cost into the mortgage, you will not care. It was not the case in our particular situation. Otherwise no one in their sane minds would pay such prices. Total rip-off.
CONS: expensive, expensive, expensive
This place is more of a beauty saloon than a standard hair cutting place. Since they are located across my workplace, one day when I was in a hurry and badly in need of a hair cut, I went in and got a regular, business-short, hair cut. It was okay but again it always id okay regardless where I get it cut. The price was not very okay though. Plain hair cut for $30 is a bit too much in my opinion. If I knew it was going to be this expensive I would have stayed away.
These people are my new home warranty plumbing repair service and I had many problems in the last 8 months or so. Everytime I had a problem, it is a pain to schedule the service ans 2 out of 3 times they do not show up on time or do not show up with the right parts. I am completely unsatisfied with them and if I had to pay for their services myself, I would not even consider them for service.
CONS: very hard to work with, do not show up on time
For our housewarming party, we needed some tables to be put in the back yard along with chairs. Since this place is quite close to where we live, we found them from a penny saver ad and decided to visit them. They had very reasonable prices and quick service and free delivery to make the deal sweeter.
PROS: Good prices
When I was taking my mom to dinner one evening, she was cleaning her eyeglasses in the car and one of the lenses came off the frame. I was wondering how we are going to get it fixed as it was getting late and while driving by, I noticed the Eyeglass Specialists. I took her glasses and went inside. They re-mounted the lens, cleaned her glasses in less than 3 minutes and hand them back to me without any charge. Pleasure to do business with.
PROS: Nice and friendly service
