This is your typical Chinese food buffet wannabe place. There are signs at the door telling you that they are under new management. If this is the new management, I wonder what the old one looked like. I visited this place on a Thursday night. During the 45 minutes of my dinner time, I have not seen replenishment of any item at the buffet. Some items, which were not sitting in sauce were dry and stale. Others were not of any good quality. Cold salad bar items were not cold enough. I have paid my one and only visit to this establishment.
CONS: low quality, stale food, staff is not attentive
Joel Jones Furniture is not your typical furniture store with loads of showroom space. They are tucked into a little corner in a warehouse area in Rancho Cucamonga, which leads to low overhead and they pass the savings onto the consumer! I have purchased all of my household furniture here and have saved a fortune. I bought a 3-pc. sectional that was retailing for $1200 at another store for $800. That is a savings of $400! They do have items on the floor for sale at significant savings. They deliver with a nominal delivery fee and the sales staff is knowledgable and friendly. They also have a variety of decorative items at a greatly reduced price. I highly recommend them even tho my wife has spent a small fortune in there.
PROS: Save lots of $$$$$$.
CONS: If you are a touchy feely person you may want a traditional store.
We have a new house which is under a year old and our garage door got possessed. It was rolling up on its own and was not responding to the wall control panel to roll up when we wanted to, sporadically. We have asked the builder to send the installing company and this nice gentleman from On Trac showed up the next Monday morning and found the short circuit in the wall control panel and fixed it quickly. He was very skilled. Without us prompting, he checked on fail-safe sensors and told us that there was recall on them and he replaced them on the spot.
Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the initial installation of this garage door was done by the same company, which did not last a year.
PROS: Skilled, friendly and professional technician
CONS: Initial installation was sub-par.
I have boarded our dog here several times and have been extremely happy with the service. One time my flight was late coming back and they did not charge me for the additional time. The price to board is reasonable and includes food if you do not bring a special diet for your furry friend. It is cageless, but your dog has to pass a behavioral test before boarding. Our dog always comes home tired from running around...
PROS: Staffed 24 hours a day, great caring staff
CONS: Can be expensive if boarding long term.
I went here for the first time a few weeks ago to get a hair cut. The stylist was quick and she was able to trim my thin hair and actually make it look fuller. The price was moderate, but well worth it. If you are used to discount haircutters, give them a try.
PROS: Quick and could walk in
CONS: Pricey if you are used to discount hair cutting
I had shopped in 3 different Bestway supermarkets and this one had the most variety and I found the quality and variety of the produce section best at this location. Their prices are on produce are cheaper than the surrounding brand-name supermarket chains. Their one day sale items on produce are hard to beat like $1 for 5 mangos, or $1 for 10 cucumbers. I like shopping there even I live far away now. It used to be one of my neighborhood stores.
PROS: Cheap quality produce
CONS: non-produce items' quality is not impressive
I have eaten at Nichols few times together with company as well as a quick lunch by myself. If you are coming for lunch with a relatively large group like 6 or 7 people, you might as well forget finding place without waiting for a long time.
Food quality is good but portion sizes can be more generous, although, portions are perfect for lunch.
Wait staff is extremely busy and when I am by myself, I think they think they are not going to get a good tip, they do not pay much attention to a single person like me, as I see them bustling around groups of 4 or more.
If you go with oe or two of your friends and do not mind the wait as well as a little inflated prices, you will like your food I am sure.
PROS: Quality food
CONS: Wait staff leaves a lot to be desired. Pricey for a diner
Me and my wife, went to play a couple of frames at this place few weekends ago. In the middle of our second game, the pin sweeper started acting up. Not giving the right scores or clearing up hal played frames. When I went to find the attendant to correct the situation, I had to wait 10 minutes to find the attendant at the front desk. People coming to pay and play were also waiting at the register.
Their food counter is so-so for the food quality but the server lady, who took our order and bring us our food, madeline, was very attentive, helpful and pleasant person.
Considering this is not a restaurant but a bowling place, I'd suggest finding another venue to play.
PROS: Attentive food counter attendant
CONS: malfunctioning equipment, hard to find help
I am in the market to buy a new car and was attracted to a cheap, very cheap Kia as my budget is limited, which was advertised by this dealership. As I arrived there on a 100 degrees hot day, my woes started immediately. I expect a car dealership to be much cooler than what it is outside. This was not the case at this place. A salesman approached me. I asked to see and test drive one of the cheap cars that they advertised. He took me for a walk in the back lot and after about 10 minutes of walking around, he said they must have all been sold. How come he could not know it before dragging me thru the parking lot in the ungodly hot weather. Then I said I would like to test drive a hatchback Kia Rio. He went to get the key and after 10 minutes came back with the key for a 4 year old car. My intention was to drive a new one and by pointing at the model I wanted to drive, in the parking lot, I expressed my interest explicitly. After a disappointing test drive, I asked to test drive a new one, regardless sedan or hatchback. He went to get the keys to one of the hundreds of new cars on the lot and did not come back for 20 minutes and we could see him inside the dealership walking around. That is when I decided to leave the dealership. They definitely lost a customer and I hope other people reading my review give their buisness to this company.
PROS: cheap prices
CONS: uncaring, unattentive, deceptive, shady characters walking around
Stay away from this place at all costs. I took my car with a leaking radiator. They found cracks in it and I let them replace it. Since that day, my car leaks transmission fluid. I took it back in and all they did was to put teflon tape around where the transmission fluid goes into the cooling section but not the output port. Of course the car is still leaking transmission fluid. I took it back one more time and they did not even touch the car, claiming what they had done (wrapping teflon tape on one end) fixed the problem and I must have some other problem. I am taking my car in to a REAL repair shop and will sue them in small claims court for the repair bills. The people working there look like they are flying by the seat of their pants.
CONS: unskilled labor, does not own up to mistakes, dishonest
