Union Bank Of California
This bank may be an unknown to states outside of California, but more banks should be a customer oriented as this one is. They went out of their way to be helpful and explained everything to me when I was trying to get a checking and savings account. It's a bank that's small in size, but large in heart.
JOHNS BAGEL DELI
This place makes all their own bagels fresh each and every day and they smell sooooo good. You can buy every kind of bagel you can imagine including a chocolate chip bagel with a layer of chocolate in the center of it, or a cheddar cheese bagel with cheddar cheese in the center. Heat this bad boy up and you have literally got yourself a grilled cheese bagel. Yummmmmm.
Starbucks
You can smell the coffee brewing as you open the door to go into this coffee house and your head starts swirling as you look at the menu to try and choose what you want to order on this visit. They have a huge case filled with goodies to go along with your coffee like bran muffins, biscotti, or any number of other culinary delights you might think of. I love this place.
Johnny's Appliance Svc & Parts
I've purchased all my appliances through this place of business and have never been disappointed. They're not all that large of a store, but they really pack in the options. They not only sell appliances, but they offer repair services as well. This is a highly respected business in Simi Valley.
Los Robles Hospital & Med Ctr
This hospital is extemely neat and clean even though they are presently going through some renovations and new construction. They're friendly, thorough, and don't charge anything at all for parking. Very nice hospital.
Baseball Cards Etc Simi Valley
If you're really into sports memorabilia such as baseball cards and the like, this is a great store to go to. The people who own the store also work there and they always have time to swap a story with you or to answer any questions you have. Their prices are reasonable too.
Diamond Neil A Od
I would have a hard time recommending this office to anyone I know because they're attitude is such that they're doing you a favor by being there for you. I've never even seen the doctor who's name is on the door and doubt his existance even. The employees are fairly rude and the customer is NOT always right!
7-Eleven
This is deinintely not a store of high ranking with me. I never go into that store when the person behind the counter isn't talking to a friend on his cell phone in a foreign language and he seems to be bothered by the fact that he has to stop his conversation to wait on you. Stay away from this store.
Ralphs
This market was really on it's way out because it was old and run down, disorganized, and short on variety. They recently underwent a complete makeover both inside and out and now they are a top notch market with an expanded fresh deli and lots of variety on their shelves.
Borders Books & Music
This place is like a candy store for those people who like to read. It's clean, well layed out, lots of entertainment variety such as tapes, CD's,, DVD's, and a snack bar with designer coffee and healthy treats. The only complaint that I have is that many of their books are not discounted and are sold at full price.
