Electronics Boutique (EB Games)
This EB seems to specialize more towards the middle aged crowd. Because it is located across from San Jose State University this makes perfect sense. They have all of the latest titles the day after they are release but quite often they under order and you have to backorder your game.
San Jose Repertory Theatre
I went and saw the "enchanted April" show and was fairly impressed. I got plenty of laughs and I believe there really isn't a bad seat in the house. My cost was $21.00 and there was a student discount I could have gotten but I don't rememeber how much it would have discounted it. I would take a date in the future if I wanted to see another play.
Barnes & Noble Booksellers
Go ahead and grab a coffee from Starbucks next to Barnes & Noble and comeon in and grab a good book and relax. This store has a wide variety for you to choose from and plenty of seating areas for you to peruse the books that are available. The atmosphere is an uncomfortable quiet like that of a library but more of that Sunday afternoon quiet where you can immerse yourself in a good book. So sit back sip and enjoy.
Cost Plus World Market
Looking for foreign flair? This is the place to find it. This store has everything for oriental to African inspired items. You can get everything from tables to bowls to wines to snacks here. I usually end up by the hot sauce section or the candy isle, but the furniture is both functional and neat to look at. Overall this is a store for those who want something a bit different than the cookie-cut IKEA items.
Sunrise Pet Ctr
This is a family run store that caters to the local market. Even though the store is small the have a good size fish section, reptile area, cat and dog section, and a large selection of supplies. The most distinguishing thing about this store is the family atmosphere you get when you come in. Average prices.
Capitol Aquarium
Capitol Aquarium is by far the best fish store in the Sacramento, maybe even northern California area. The store is easily accessible off of I-80 and has such amenities as a koi pond, electric eel tank, and an eight foot tall aquarium. The store is very large and has mostly fresh water, but, also salt water fish.
Folsom Fine Jewelry
Adams is a local jeweler that is an example of the American dream. Adam came from the middle east and started this store and then shortly a few years later opened another store in Loehmans plaza. They have all sorts of jewelry and a watch repair in the back of the store.
Mak's Tuneup & Smog
Mak is a regular character in our life being that we have four cars in our house that are driven everyday. He quickly services our cars and always does above and beyond what we ask him for with no extra charge. The ease of having a local guy that remembers your info and goes above and beyond your expectations is what keeps us going back every 3 months or 30000 miles, depending on which is first.
Worth Orthodontics
The service that is recieved at Dr. Worth's office is definitely 1st class. The office is fairly large and fits with much of the new development of Roseville. I have had much experience with Worth and his staff and do not have any complaints except for perhaps the cost which is about $125 a visit (which I think is standard).
Dr peter worth
Dr. Worth has been my orthodontist for four years and I cannot explain how much he has done for me. He has seen me through two oral surgeries and performed what others in the dentistry field have called, "amazing" things. I never imagined my smile would be this far along and I must give credit to this great man.
