I needed a new hairstylist so I stopped someone who's hair I liked walking in the mall. She told me that she goes to Glitz salon and has a stylist named Annie. I went to her and she did an excellent job. I forgot to tell you that my previous stylist fried my hair and it was in terrible shape. Annie colored and cut it and is continuing to get my hair back to it's original state. She is excellent and the salon treats you like royalty when you are there!
PROS: Feels very expensive but average priced
They go to most of the art fairs and shows and sell the coolest stuff. I have bought quite a few old, antique pictures of different parts of Clarkston in the 1600-1800's.They are really nice black and white photos and I framed them and have them up.Peole always comment on them. They sell alot of different items also, but the pictures are a one of a kind find.
PROS: They sell great antique photos of the town
This is a very nice store with very different antiques. Itis good sized also and has alotof inventory in it. It attracts people from all over the place and has a really nice bed and breakfast nearby. It is a shortwalk to all of the cute stores and restaurants in Downtown Clarkston.
PROS: Cute store, can walk to great restaurants and stores
Dr. Sikorski is a good doctor. She has the latest technology eqiuptment. Her staff isn't too friendly which I mention because I work in a Doctors office and think that this is important. But I stilll go there because the Doctoris good and it is a goodlocation on Telegraph near Square Lake road. The office is in the basement so it is kinda dark and there are no windows, but for a quick mole check or a dermatology visit is it basically a good clinic.
This is the best place to have an MRI done. They have the newest equiptment and they also have a mobile unit so you can have one done in Clarkston or at Crittenton hospital, if you don't want to go to Rochester. They are pretty open which is good if you are claustrophobic. Nice staff also.
PROS: nice staff,newest equiptment
This is a nice place is you want to play raquetball and then have a drink or a bite to eat afterwards. There are many indoor courts, and a nice size bar/restaurant with great nachos. Great place to bring the kids to play and if you don't want to play you can watch from above or go tothe bar!
PROS: Lot's of courts and nice bar/restaurant
This is a really nice movie theater if you don't want to go to a crowded mall theater. It's really good for elderly people who can't walk far. Parking is close as opposed to the malls which are a far walk.Otherwise the theater is the same, nice seats, first run movies.
PROS: Close parking, not a far walk
This is a great after hours clinic. The midnight doctor, Dr. Loren Chudler is so good.He is caring and has a great bedside manor. He is good at what he does also.He is excellent with children. Nice clinic, good nurses.Parking is close by and not too bad of a wait time.
PROS: Great midnight Doctor
Thedoctorhere,Paul Haduck is so nice and he has a great bedside manor. He is also very smart and takes pride in his healing. He is upto dateon the latest findings and they do alot of procedures right in the office. They do X-rays, EMG's,EKG's, draw blood and more.Nice staff and clean office also.
