Golfsmith Golf & Tennis

This store has a very good variety of items to make your own clubs from. My husband has made almost all of his and all of my golfclubs. If they don't have what he needs in the store - they have a catalog to order from. They have great gift ideas for the golfers in your life - boxed sets, clothing, etc.

Clotheshorse Anonymous

This store has a great variety of cloths in all sizes and styles - even furs. They also have a security guard that works there. High end store will lots to choose from Nice large dressing rooms, convenient location at Preston and Forest. The have a high quality about them that makes them better than most resale shops.

Dave & Buster's

This place if fun for the entire family. They have games for all ages even bowling. It is like Chuck E Cheeses but more for adults. They have a bar and a game room. Any age is welcome. They are located on Walnut Hill off of 75 (East of 75 on the left). Easy to get to and fun for everyone.

Hobby Lobby Creative Ctr

This location has a great selection of fabrics and decor. They have good sales as well. This is an old Wal-Mart store so it is nice and roomy. The location is at Hwy78/Lavon Drive right off George Bush/190. The store is clean and laid out well.

Limited Too

This store has a great selection of girls clothing. The best time to shop is during their sales and they have some great sales!! They are a little pricey otherwise but they have such a great selection of items and sizes. They also offer accessories, shoes, room decore, candy, backpacks, music CD's, etc. Everything a girl could want. They are trendy and up beat. A must for any girl 5-15 (depending on their size). They carry cloths 6-Juniors and their XS and 6slims run really slim.

A Place To Paint

For a fun place to take your kids or you go alone to paint ceramics, this is the place. They offer parties as well. They have a good selection of items to paint - from small trinket items to platters and bowls. The only downside I have to this place are the prices. They are expensive! For 5 of us to paint it cost us over $90. You have to pay a fee to paint (sitting fee), purchase what you are going to paint, then have it fired/glazed. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Plano Sports Authority

This Dr. Pepper Stars Center is a great place to have your children active in. They offer Football, Flag Football, Cheerleading, Soccer, Softball, Volleyball, Basketball,
Ice Skate School, Inline Hockey, Baseball, Lacrosse, Ice Hockey, Golf, Swimming, and more. This is a large establishment that can house many sports at once. The kids have a good time and they are safe. They offer different camps during the summer and have good coaches!! Prices are reasonable to play sports. Location is West Plano between Spring Valley and Legacy on Preston Meadow (West of Coit).

Kroger

This location has some of the best employees and management. The store is always clean and the staff is always willing to help and assist you. They see in on an aisle and ask if you need assistance - that is great to me. I haven't mapped the store completely yet so I need their help. The only downside I have is the meat selection - it could be a little better but it is better than Wal-Mart Grocery in Murphy but not as good as the Albertson's in Murphy. Prices are comparible and they double and triple coupons regularly.

The Childrens Place

Purchasing my daughters cloths at The Children's Place was a great experience. The prices are GREAT!!! and the selection is very good. They offer very trendy styles for younger children and have a great variety of sizes. This outlet is located in Allen Premium Outlet - the far South/West corner near Mikasa and Burkes Outlet. I was able to purchase fall shirts for $1.99 each. The only downfall to this location is they only have 1 girls dressing room and 1 boys dressing room.

Bobby Moffats Soccer Camps Academy & Rent A Coach

My daughter attended one of Bobby Moffett's camps this summer and loved it. The coaching staff was great with the kids and worked well together. They divide the kids by ages and skills and have them practice different techniques and moves. The kids learned a great deal - hopefully remembering to take what they learned into the fall season. Prices were comparable to other camps and they will come to your area - which is great so you don't have to travel too far. They evaluate your child at the end of camp to show what your child needs to work on. They also offer additional camps at a discounted price since you already paid for the first camp.

Great learning experience and a lot of fun!!
