La Bella Casa is a very full, colorful place filled with lots of gift-type items. You could certainly use the items for personal use too, but they look so neat and nicely packed that they are ideal for gifts. They offer a wide range of things from linens to personal care items to jewelry to candles to stationary. A nice feature is the offer items on consignment, so many things are made locally, and everyone shares in the profit. If you have items that fit their store, you could sell there as well as shop there. A positive is they are open 7 days a week with more extended hours than other local small gift shops. A drawback is their prices are on the high side, but they do have lots of beautiful work that is worth checking out.
This store was recently voted "Best Gift Shop" in the area, so you know they have a nice selection of attractive gifts. They have various things from baskets to ornaments to decorative figures. The store has an outside part full of plants and some garden decorations. The store inside has more plants as well as flowers and the gifts. They have very talented florists that arrange beautiful arrangements. THe prices are on the high side, but the quality is very good. One drawback is they are not open on Sundays. A positive is that they are right off the main highway and easy to find and get to with plenty of parking.
There are some things I don't like about this company. For one, the location isn't the greatest, and they don't have a lot of advertising. Most people are likely to miss it completely unless they are looking for it. The have limited hours as they're only open Tues-Sat 10 AM to 4 PM, so a lot of people aren't able to make it during open hours. The good things are that they offer wonderful classes in bead making and stained glass. They sell some of their custom work and other supplies needed to make stained glass and flamework. This is a great specialty store, but I wish they would extend their hours so more people could enjoy it. THe work is beautiful, but the prices are on the high side.
Of all the rental places I've seen, this is the most complete offering of items available for parties and other special events. They offer almost everything you'd need from sound systems to tents to china to gazebos to bars to linens to dance floors... and the list goes on and on. It's nice to get everything in one place instead of having to go to several stores to get everything ready for that party. Because they sell high volumes, their prices are reasonable. The workers are good at reminding you of things you might need. They also have a showroom that you could rent and hold the party there.
As a female, I highly recommend this fitness club because it's just for women- men are not eligible to become members. I think this makes the focus more on overall health and well-being and less on being more self-conscious. It costs about $35 per month, which is a little spendy for me, but they do offer 1 month free so you have a chance to try it out. Besides the regular workout stations, they offer classes in yoga, pilates, and nutritional counseling. You can have your own personal trainer. The club is just off the main highway with plenty of party.
My close friend had RJ take pictures and videotape her wedding. I got there early and watched the photography session with the couple and wedding party. RJ was the main photographer, and he had an assistant to help him. They were very polite and professional and were efficient in arranging and directing people. As they took pictures during the wedding, they stayed in the background without drawing a lot of attention. However, their pictures were excellent. They put the pictures in an album for you, and their prices are average. I would recommend them to anyone for wedding pictures. THey also offer in-studio potraits.
I've had very positive experiences taking my dog to this hospital. Once I had him neutered, and another time we went when he had an upset stomach. The vet and other workers took excellent care of him, and conferred with me before starting any procedure. They explained the process and got my approval before beginning. Their prices are a little higher than others in the area, but I think the price is well worth it. Also, they don't use staples like many other places do- instead, they use a material that dissolves on its own, which is more convenient and comfortable for the animal. Their company is in what looks like a little house right off the main highway.
Overall, I really like this hair salon. They are pretty small, but the location is in a very small town, so the supply matches with demand. The location is right on the main highway, so it's easy to find. The one drawback is that this area gets congested, so you may have to wait a while before pulling your car back into traffic when you leave. The thing I like most is the atmosphere- it feels homey and comfortable with simple but clean decorations. They don't have many employees, but the ones they have are very friendly and talented at fixing and cutting hair. Men are welcome, but I've mostly just seen women going to this salon.
The nice thing about this nail salon is it also offers waxing, so that's an added bonus for people interested in that. They charge average prices, like full set of nails for $25. They are smaller-sized with about 5 tables for manicures and 5 areas for pedicures. They don't have a huge selection on fingernail polish- there are about 30 or 40 to pick from, but some other salons have a greater selection. It sounds like a lot but doesn't seem like a lot when you're looking at the small bottles. I went here with a wedding party once, and everyone's nails looked very good. They are in a mini-mall location, so that's convenient.
I like the modern, clean look of this salon. The floor is black and white checked, and black leather chairs complete the look. The place isn't too big (about 10 chairs total), but I've never seen big rushes of people come at once. I usually make an appointment, but walk-ins are also welcome. Besides hair cutting, they also do nails as well. You can get a full nail set for $25, which is the going rate in this area. I've gotten my hair cut there once and was happy with the results. It's right off the main highway, so it's very easy to find.
