When you need to garage park your car at the airport in phoenix, you don't have a whole lot of options. This is among the most expensive of airport garages, from what I've found.
Firestone is one of those places when you feel like they really would go the extra mile for you, which is really nice, for a female who needs car service that she knows nothing about.
I normally come away from a car wash frustrated and feeling ripped off, but these guys actually do a decent job. It takes a while though - don't go when your in a rush! : -)
It is very nice that this is all enclosed.. it can get way too hot for swap marts in arizona in the summer. This place is kind of nice for when you are not looking for anything in particular, but just to roam and see what you find.
Ortega Jewlers sells a lot of native american art jewlery. They are well known locally, and may be interesting to someone visiting from out of town. They use a lot of silver & turquoise in their peices.
This place has been around for as long as arizona has. they are pretty much the original smoke shop of arizona, but in the last few years, have started going in a weird, sex-shop direction. Definetly not somewhere to take the kids!!!
I once needed a zipper replaced, and this place was able to do it on the spot. If I remember correctly, she only charged me a few dollars, too. I would use this place again.
This place does have a huge selection. Have you ever noticed how expensive cowboy boots & hats are though? Not just at this place, but everywhere. But for the money, you get a product that will last forever. Friendly, helpful employees here, too.
I bought one of those gift certificate deals for this place - it was supposed to be a $150 value or something, where you get three different services for $30. Well, when i scheduled the first service, a hair cut, which was supposed to be FREE, since I bought the stupid gift certificate, i ended up spending $80 (EIGHTY DOLLARS!!!) before I got out of there with my hair cut. needless to say, i never went back for the other services.
Not exactly literalyl a warehouse, but a place with a big selection and decent pricing. Much better than somewhere like David's bridal, anyway. I like that they will sort of let you do your own thing - i don't need someone followingmy every step to decide if I like a dress or not.
