Boy do all the kids here love Kings Island. They always have great coupons and giveaways and htey always have some hguge attaraction. They are afforadable and offer many rides and stuff for all ages. They have 100s of parking spots and offer concession at ok prices. When I was 10 years old I remember riding my first roller coaster it was at Kings Island. I was on the Backwards Racer and my best friend was on the forwards racer. Neither of us knew the other was going to be at the park that day. This is what it is all about making life long memories.
Kings Island is a wonderful place for the whole family because there is something for everyone to do. For younger kids there is Hanna Barbara land, for the older kids there are tons of more adventurous rides. There is the Water park for the whole family, and tons of entertainment throughout the day. In the Winter time they even have a Winterfest.
My family loves Wall 2 Wall Soccer. They have at leat 30 parking spaces and they are always so nice. They specialize in anything soccer and will order anything you need in your size or color or whatever you want. Wall 2 Wall is a great indoor soccer arena. Wall 2 Wall is a great place for your budding soccer star to play indoor during the off season. Wall 2 Wall features a huge field that is generally broken into 3 smaller fields and one arena field. They feature parties and events for kids as well. There is a soccer equipment store on site as well.
Parker's is my sons favorite place to shop. It is one of the only local stores that carry their favorite MLB showdown cards. The owner and guys that work their are very nice, they have even opened the doors for us in the evening after they have closed for the night so the boys could make their purchases. Their prices are reasonable but about the same as other comic stores. They do have the hard to finds though and they specialize in old comics. They have a few parking spots and they are very kind folks.
Northland Ice Skating has great prices, great parking and specializes in teaching beginners! If you are into skating this is probably one of the better indoor rinks you will find in Cincinnati. The location is central and the rink is large enough to host the crowds that show up every weekend during the short winter season. Admission is reasonable, the foyer has vending machines and a place to sharpen your blades. You can also rent skates right there for a very small rental fee.
This store is in the middle of a small town where everyone knows everyone and that is the attitude you will get when you come into Main Street Music. Steve and Dave are the nicest and most helpful men around. They are very skillful and knowledgeable in the music industry. The prices are great and so is the atmosphere. You can go to shop, or just go to jam with them for a while. This store is great! They specialize in hard to finds and will get what you need! The parking and PRICES ARE GREAT!
This place is not just books its cds dvds stationary and magazines. The prices are the best in town. Plus they will buy your old books and other media. I love to check out their used magazines. They also have a wide variety of art books which i really enjoy. Their are 3 or 4 locations in Cincinnati. The stores are always well keeped and orgainzed. Great Prices and great Parking! Great stores!
This store has the largest selection of sheet music I have ever seen! They carry everything from classics, to modern works, to hard-to-find music. And for all kinds of instruments and voice ranges. The staff here are very knowledgeable-if you are searching for the appropriate music, they have no problem playing different selections for you on the piano, to help you pick the right song! I could get lost in this store. And their prices are very reasonable. Our church choir buys most of its music from this store-very reputable and highly recommended!
skatin place is a place where a family can have good clean fun. And kids can make new friend. you can rent skates or bring your own. Even if you don't skate you can eat some pizza from the snak bar. and then watch your kids have fun. They play good muisc that the kids and adults love. Its a great place to spend a rainy day or for a birthday party. I highly recomend the Skatin place and its located right off colerain ave. The place is super clean with many parking spots
Forget the image of the dark, smoke filled bowling alley. Cherry Grove Lanes is well lit, clean and not at all smoky. The staff is kind and their prices are competitive. They have made a point to accommodate the homeschooling group that we are part of by offering us a great rate and being open during the day. Lanes function well and there are always plenty of light balls for the younger bowlers. There are many parking places and they specialize in colored pen bowling specials that you can win money with!
Looking for a relatively inexpensive night out with the family? Then head over to Madison Avenue and hit the Oakley Drive-In. Although the box office has been taken over by Showcase Cinemas, I think they are still independent (I think this because they dont honor any Showcase vouchers or gift certificates). The box office prices have steadily increased, but since it is a drive-in you can bring your own food and beverages with you, which with my family usually costs more than admission. Make sure you have a good car battery however, since you no longer put the speaker in the window, you just tune to 90.1 on your FM dial. This definitely improves the experience as you no longer are listening to a movie through a small mono speaker and you could even bring you boom box along if you want. The double feature (which usually contains at least one family friendly first run feature) starts at dusk, and then they repeat the movies at least the first movie I think both but Ive never stayed that late.
