Usually friendly, I used to come in here often for pre-paid cards. However, one time when I was growing up I ended up being about NINE cents short. Being a teen I had no credit or debit cards and that was all my cash and change I had. I had to literally go in the parking lot and ask for 9 cents. Usually store workers will just give you a dime and say don't worry about it, or they have that little cup for people to put pennys for when you fall short, but they were very rude about 9 cents..
I like Ross stores, but this location is very crowded and disorganized, there are bargains but it will take you many many minutes and sometimes even hours of looking to find something you like and that fits.
Excellent food and great service, usually nice high school and college students. Very friendly and the food is great. They even have special foods for kids like little sandwiches and mini fruit salads. I reccomend the tortilla soup, the potato soup, and the sandwiches. And of course the various flavored teas. (Open for lunch only).
Great little mail room, they have alot of these types of places around this area, here in California they don't. Wrap & Mail Room was a small and friendly little place and offer basic shipping, and I believe some faxing and copying services as well. They have cards, boxes, gift wrapping, etc. so you don't have to come that prepared.
If you like country music and cowboys you'll love this place but if you don't then you might feel very very out of place. But regardless of how you feel about the atmosphere, you'll love the food, the service, and the price on your bill.
One of the negatives about Willowbrook Mall is that they got rid of the in-mall movie theatre, but there is one nearby across the highways. It's fine if you have a car but if you're dropping of teens or kids to go shopping and they also want to see a movie it can be a hassle. Willowbrook ends up being one of the only options in the area unless you live far enough down Highway 6 to go to West Oaks or another mall like memorial
Katy Mills has several good things as well as negative things. First, it's HUGE, just check out the directory here - http://www.katymills.com/static/node625.jsp . But also, it's far away from most homes in the area. Second, it has no major department stores but instead has alot of bargain / discount / outlet stores. But of course it does have normal chains like Icing, Hot Topic, Burger King, Old Navy, Foot Locker, Fredericks, etc etc.
Great mall, one of few in the area, some advantages over Willowbrook. For one, West Oaks still has it's cinema (although it got rid of it's arcade in favor of yet ANOTHER shoe store). It has all the staples (Foleys, Dillards, JC Penny, Mervyns, & Sears) as well as several specialty shops and kiosks. Great food court and good layout, not too much walking.
Last time I went here this place was falling apart, it's old, cheap, floor cracked, walls dirty and very small, hot, and dark. Go to the Bear Creek Roller Rink on the 5000 block of Highway 6 for a much better time.
This was a great place to go when I was growing up, we loved the DJs and the little place to get food like pizza and sodas. It's good for parties and have discounts for groups.
