California State University Fullerton
My school didn't offer a Finance class that I needed to take during the summer so I took it here. The process was pretty easy register online and show up. The only thing that is annoying is parking, one they are doing a ton of construction so a lot of the roads are blocked off and it is just difficult to navigate, and two the parking passes are $96 for five weeks? I wasnt ready to pay that so I suggest if at all possible you have someone drop you off and pick you up much easier. The class is surprisingly small and the teacher is young and entergetic. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to take a summer school class.
Legends Classic Diner
They have a wide variety of food from burgers to sandwiches to salads. The prices are awesome for the amount of food you get. They also offer ice cream shakes and smoothies. They have a large dinning room that is very colorful and fun. Great place for families and team parties.
Denny's
I went here after Knotts Scarey Farm with some friends one night. The service was really slow and not that good but its Denny's you dont go in there expecting much. When the waitress was refilling our waters there was a rusty nail in the bottom of the water pitcher. She actually blamed US for it! The nerve of her. I could not believe that a restaurant would blame the customer for something like that. Yes we are young, but that doesnt me we carry around rusty nails to throw in water pitchers, how would we have done that? Very unsanitary and one of my friends got sick from the food as well. Not a good location.
Coco's Bakery Restaurant
The food was good I will give them that, but our order was not right. First off we had to wait a while it was a Sunday morning so that is expected. When we finally sat down we got sat in a very hostile enviornment. The waitor had totally messed up a large parties order and had forgotten some of their food and messed up their order. Then there was another large party sat next to us that was ignored. To top it all of the waitor was hitting on us and didnt even get our order right! I will never go back to this location. I would rather get on the freeway and drive 20 miles then to recieve this kind of service. Also the manager refused to discount the food of the table next to us when someones food was not brought tell 40 minutes after the rest of the party. I have never seen such poor management and service in a long time.
Joaquin's Mexican Restaurant
This place is located in the back of the shopping center so it can not be seen from the street. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that you get. I ordered a delicious burrito that i could have definitely split with someone else. The inside decor is bright greens and reds, and the atmosphere is nice. The service was quick and friendly and the food didnt take long. Nice place.
Abigail Abbott Staffing Svc
After coming back from my first year in college I was nervous about finding a temporary job. I got my resume together and took the tests they give you. Within a few days I had an interview and a great summer job. They were very helpful in placing me somewhere when I could offer little experience. Very nice, helpful and made my summer job search a lot easier.
One Stop Cleaners
My family has used this cleaner for years. They know you by name and always greet you with a smile. It is nice to have someone appreciate your business and have a great job done. They can have your dry cleaning done quickly and the prices are average.
Golden Spoon Yogurt
I absolutely love golden spoon. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from and it is something like 10 calories for a small or something ridiculous like that and it is filling. It is so good on a hot day and there are tables inside and outside to sit at and enjoy.
Fantastic Tans
I went here in high school, and it is cheap and was close to my gym. Yet i have been to much cleaner tanning places where prices are comparable. They arent bad but I never felt that they were that clean which is a big deal when other people are using the beds. There are nicer places right arond the corner.
Rigoberto's Mexican Food
So what do high school/ college students do when they are out late? They eat thats what. This is the common place to go for a late night snack. The place isnt the cleanest, in fact some of the chairs are even broken, but the food tastes really good and its CHEAP. So if you are looking for some cheap mexican food and no atmosphere you have found your place.
