Brett Darrell C Md - Northwest Spine Surgery

Our primary doctor recommended I see a neurosurgeon immediately to get further clinical evaluation. My spouse and I consulted Dr. Brett in January. My spouse has a severe bulged disc in his spine which compresses several nerve exit roots resulting in severe weakness, numbness, and many other serious symptoms. His situation is serious so we wanted to get an honest opinion from a professional neurosurgeon.

However, Dr. Brett gave us the exact opposite of what we expected. After waiting for over 2 hours in the patient room Dr. Brett spent less than 5 minutes with us. He failed to do a neurological exam which is required.When Dr. Brett initially came into the room he only gave us about 2 seconds of his time. He then told my spouse to take off all his clothes except for his underwear - he then left the room. We thought he was going to do the neurological exam however, when he came back he just looked at my spouse (no exam done) and told him to get dressed.

Dr. Brett claimed he was leaving the room to review the MRI studies while my spouse got dressed. Upon returning to our room he said that he reviewed his MRI's which was nothing short of a fallacy since we could hear him chatting in the hallway during the time he claimed he was looking at the MRI study. It is apparent Dr. Brett intentionally tried to mislead us and did not even take the time to review the MRI study as he claimed.

We tried to ask him some questions but he told us "I have other patients that I need to see. I have to go". He then rushed out of the room and slammed the door in a very unprofessional manner.

Since this horrible experience we have found a honest neurosurgeon who agreed that my spouse's situation was serious and that immediate surgery is required to prevent permanent nerve damage.

Illo Chiropractic

My spouse went in to see Dr. Anthony Illo to get relief from his chronic lower back pain and incurred additional trauma to his spine resulting in permanent injury.

Prior to visiting Dr. Illo my spouse had no neck pain whatsoever. After two neck adjustments my spouse was left with a bulged disc in his lower cervical spine resulting in significant pain. Our primary doctor confirmed that his bulged disc was caused by Dr. Illo's deragatory chiropractic services.

We have learned about several other simular cases where Dr. Illo has caused far more damage then good. It is our immediate objective to inform the public of Dr. Illo's wrongful actions.

Starfish Manor

We had a romantic getaway for the weekend - I found this place online and thought we'd check it out. They are all romantic suites with ocean front views and jacuzzi tubs in the bedroom next to the window for a great view from the tub. The place is complete luxury. There were a few things that could be done to improve the place but overall it was cozy and romantic.There are no kids or pets allowed at the place to keep it quiet and romantic. They provide bath salts, rose petals and robes. Great place for a romantic getaway!

Big Al's, Inc.

We have been hearing about this place for awhile now and decided to go check it out for ourselves! We were amazed at the size of the place. The arcade isn't as big as the hype but is still fun for kids. The bowling was the best. They have packages you can get for bowling that are reasonably priced and worth it. We got a package that was 2 hours of unlimited bowling, a pitcher of soda (with one free refill) and a pretzel for each person in your group.

The wait staff is friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a waitress come to you to get your order for food and drinks while you bowl.

Highly recommended!

Gallucci's Pizzeria

The wait is a little long to get your pizza but is well worth the wait. The pizza was yummy and the chicken strips and potato wedges were excellent. The place looks a little old inside but don't let that fool you. Try out the pizza next time you're in town.

Sand & Sea Condominium

This is pretty much the only place we'll stay in Seaside. It's right on the beach so you can watch sunset from your balcony. The condos are spacious and nice. Prices are decent. It's just a short walk to the shops and restaurants.

Rumisimone Spa

My boyfriend and I have been here twice for a couples massage. It was extremely relaxing. The spa is always VERY clean. The "wait rooms" are cozy and have plenty to take advantage of. The man and lady masseurs we had were excellent. They worked on the areas we needed massaged the most and were very professional. Rumi Simone is a must go back to spa.

If you and your significant other are looking for somewhere fun yet relaxing to go this weekend you MUST go here. It was an amazing experience. The different courses of the meal - with the different fondue's was fun and very yummy. We enjoyed our secluded table were we could just relax and enjoy our meal. The drinks were superb. We will definitely be going back!!

El Gaucho

My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary and were amazed with the food. The steaks were perfect, the mashed potatoes were the best and the vegetables were tasty! The staff was professional and friendly. The drinks were excellent. Service was quick.
