Hobby Lobby in West Bend has a really good variety of items in their large store. The store also carries several Christian items such as stickers and stamps with verses on them. (kind of a rarety in most stores)
I would recommend this store to any crafter. By the way, you can go to the store for home decorating needs as well. You wouldn't necessarily think of a craft store for decor, but they do have some nice items for decor.
Sally has a good selection of items even though it is a small store. The drawback is not being able to buy all items unless you have a license - I'd like to do a perm at home.
I have found some good sales here. Their perm rods were a really good sale when I was there a good while ago. You can buy the rods, but not the perm. Hmmm.
Good products for putting nutrients back into your hair. I also found some temporary hair color.
Nice, convenient location since it is between Pick N Save & Walmart. The store is large and has a large assortment of cards, including those extra large cards that can be fun to give.
Friendly workers and an all-around nice place to find a card and/or a gift.
B 52 has a nice Senior menu of sandwiches and soups. The food is good, you'll enjoy taking your family there. The carrot cake is a recommended choice for dessert.
Prices are very reasonable.
The food at Colonial has been good and the pies excellent. My favorite is banana cream pie (hope they still have it.)
Non-smokers, if you want to get your fill of nicotene, this is sure the place to go. One step into the place and you'll feel like you've smoked a pack yourself. This place is bad. If you have any sort of asthma or breathing trouble, avoid it like the plague. And, don't think you can just hide out in the nonsmoking section. Oh no, you have to walk through the smokers when you enter and when you leave.
So, why did I give this a satisfactory? Because your experience can be a good one if you send someone that either smokes or doesn't mind the smoke in to get your food for you. You'll enjoy the food.
I used to really love the MF pizza hut. The food is great whether dining in, carrying out, or delivery. Nice thick crust pizza (if that's your favorite) with crisy pepperoni. Yum.
My latest experience there wasn't that great though. The dishes weren't clean and the waitress wasn't very helpful when a greasy cup caused a spill. (flew out of hands) And, to top it all off, there were some aching bellies afterwards.
I'll probably be back SOME day, but for now I'm keeping my distance.
Still leaving it as satisfactory because my other experiences there have been good.
There are always many cars in the Odyssey parking lot, so I'm thinking that is a good sign. I've enjoyed their food. Nice place to go when you feel like a family restaurant.
Don't order the quesadillas - I'm not sure what they really are, but they aren't quesadillas. They look more like a cigar than anything else.
Also a big drawback is that they allow smoking inside.
Since the renovation, this is a nice place to spend some time researching. Things are spread out nicely and they have plenty of seating (comfortable seating) to sit and relax with a book. You'll find several study rooms along the borders also for those that want to study together.
The drawback is whoever designed the book drop. I just have to ask "what were you thinking?"
I noticed that this particular store had some funny gag gifts for the over the hill crowd. Haven't seen them at the others.
I also got a nice pkg of Christmas cards (in season) for $.99 - nothing too fancy, but nice to put with a gift.
Nice, open store where it is easy to look through the merchandise.
I'd recommend checking the prices at Factory Card Outlet if you're planning a party. They have all of the character items you might need, but are pretty pricey if regular price. I think it would be best to check FCO for basic color items and then see if they have any characters on sale while you're there. If not, you'd be better off at Walmart.
Their clearance can be really good once it gets down to where they really mean business about getting rid of it. (I got several nice things for 25 cents.)
