Play it Again Sports is an excellent place to buy and sell new and used sports equipment. Their prices on new sports equipment are only average, but if you are willing to buy pre-owned, this is an excellent place to shop. They specialize in golf, basketball, baseball, hockey and skating, but they carry lots of other equipment too. This location has a huge inventory, especially of hockey and skates.

This location of Play it Again Sports is smaller, but still has a good selection. If you need sports equipment for kids who will quickly outgrow it, buying used makes sense, and the stuff they sell is good quality. This location has golf clubs, basketball, soccer, some fitness equipment and other sports too. They have good sales on single used golf clubs.

Melrose Oriental Rug Melrose Oriental Rug is a great place to have your expensive oriental rugs cleaned. They will come and pick your rug up at your house, and load it into their truck and take it away to be cleaned, and then bring it back. Or, they will give a discount on the price if you drop it off at their store and pick it up. They do an excellent job at cleaning the rugs, and are reasonably friendly.

Bobs has a great selection of affordable furniture. There are selections for whatever your style or price range. The employees are not high-pressure. The best part of shopping here is the completely free snack bar and video game room. They have candy, popcorn, ice cream, and its all complimentary to shoppers. They also have a room of video games that are also free. Great for when you bring the family along to shop.

Reading, MA Movie Theaters 07/30/05: 'Massive and overwhelming, great selection'

This location of Jordans Furniture opened in the last 2 years. It is massive and almost like a circus. Inside the store there is a movie theater, restaurant, trapeze school and ice cream store. Oh, and they sell lots and lots of furniture too. You almost need to pack a lunch when you go shopping here. Its amazing and almost a little overwhelming.

This location is usually very quiet. The employees are quite helpful in recommending games for whatever age range you are looking for. You can also find good deals on used video games for any game system. The new games are cheaper at somewhere like Walmart, but for used games and pre-orders, this place is great.

This Hallmark is a very large store and has an excellent selection. They have a fantastic amount of Vera Bradley products, as well as many other brands. They carry a really nice selection of childrens specialty toys and games in the back of the store. The employees are friendly and they sometimes have nice sales.

This convenience store is always bustling with activity. Very popular for lottery, but also has a great selection of products. Surprisingly, they have good prices on milk, which is unusual in a convenience store. Employees are friendly and speak limited English.

P& S convenience store has been around for my entire life. It is a great little local convenience store operated by locals. They offer s reasonable selection of groceries and delicious subs. They are very conveniently located near the high school and are open lots of hours. Easy to pop in and out of when you need a few items.

Reading, MA Farmer Markets 07/30/05: 'Fantastic produce and flowers'

This local farm stand has grown so much in the past 10 years. It has a huge selection of fresh produce and tons of beautiful flowers. Their quality is very high, and their fruit and veggies are delicious. Also a great place to get Christmas Trees and Pumpkins at the holidays. Prices are higher than a grocery store, but worth it.
