This Kia location has moved up route 1 about 2 miles. It offers sales and service. I have found the service team to be very hardworking and they dont give up until they find the problem you brought the car in for. You can drop your car off anytime after 7:30 am for service, and they usually have it fixed the same day. This location also offers a large selection of new vehicles.
Brooks Pharmacy in Reading offers a well lit, expansive store and a drive-through pharmacy. The drive-through pharmacy is extremely handy; they have a separate drop off and pick up section. The pharmacists are always quick and friendly and the Brooks store has all the general goods you could need. They frequently have sales and have a large selection of their own brand of items, saving you even more money.
Belvedere is a hair salon that offers other services like nails and massages upstairs. I have used Linda several times. She does an excellent job. Even though I saw her infrequently, she remembered the style I liked and cut it perfectly each time. They are open plenty of varied hours, so you can squeeze in an appointment at your convenience. Their prices are average. There is a nice sunlit waiting area filled with magazines. Linda also did a great job on my three year old daughter.
Simms is a very friendly, small town jeweler. The same guys have worked there for a long time, and they know the customers well. Thye are flexible and offer layaway for most items. They have a nice selection of gold, watches and other baubles. The prices are pretty good, and they offer a discount for Atlantic card holders.
Goodhearts is a very upscale specialty childrens clothing store. The clothes are extremely expensive but very good quality. They have beautiful outfits and their stuff is very nice for holiday pictures. It is located in Reading Square. If you are looking for a really special outfit for a special occasion, and money is no object, then this is the perfect place to go.
Gymboree in Burlington is a nice place to shop for kids clothes if you have a lot of money and like cute matching outfits. If you know how to bargain shop, you can usually get some cute things, but in general they are expensive. This location has been recently renovated and the staff is helpful. There is a cute little TV and little chairs for young kids while the moms are shopping.
This KB toys is always fun to visit. They constantly have good bargains and clearance items, and the store layout is easy to navigate. The store even lets kids try out the ride on toys in the aisles. There are never long lines (except the day after thanksgiving) and the staff is relatively friendly.
This branch of the Department of Motor Vehicles is above average. In the last few years, the wait times are short and they seem to have things well organized. The building is quite clean and bright, and the system works efficiently. Parking can be a problem, as they share the parking lot with REI and several other small businesses.
The employees in this branch of Bank of America are quite friendly and helpful. They usually have a beverage and snack on a table, and they have a little play area for kids. The lines are usually short, and they always give kids a lollipop on the way out.
This is an adorable little local store. They have a great selection of Town merchandise, like handpainted Reading ornaments and they have lots of charming collectibles and decorations. They usually have a good sale after Christmas. The prices are average, considering the merchandise is quite unique.
