I've been using the pediatrics doctors for several years now, but don't know if I'll continue. The main doctor we saw is now in practice elsewhere. The other doctors are efficient and professional, but don't seem as compassionate as the one we used. On the other hand, we could almost always get an urgent care appointment the same day, next day at the latest. So, they're good at what they do, just don't have the warmth I'm used to.
I've usually been disappointed with my experience at this store. If you're looking for a gourmet item, you're probably okay. But I've had several trips when I've driven the 20 or so miles across town to take advantage of an advertised special, only to get there and find they are sold out or the item is not as advertised. You'd think, if they are having a sale, they'd make sure to have extra stock on hand. So, I might still stop in if I'm on that side of town, but I don't make a practice of patronizing this store.
I sent my daughter to this school this year for the Kindergarten. I am SOO pleased. The teachers and staff are all wonderful people, very caring, and really love kids. The curriculum is challenging but fun, and the kids really thrive. The best part (for me, at least) is that it's a Christian environment and they make sure that the kids are "fed" spiritually as well as educationally. It ain't cheap, but considering that this is vital to the future.....I intend to scrape every penny I can towards continuing my kids in this school.
I have an addiction to plants! This is a great place to indulge that addiction. They have a huge selection of annuals, perennials, trees, and decorative garden accessories. I love to go and wander their many greenhouses - of course, I always buy too many plants. (Is there such a thing?!)
I love garden centers. There, I've admitted it! Jon's is a nice little place - not high-brow like some of the other places in this area. They have a good selection of annual, perennials, trees and roses, and usually have a few unusual varieties thrown in just to spice up the mix. I always check them out!
Andy's Market is a great place to shop! They have the best produce selection and prices in the area, along with a bulk foods and natural remedies section. The store has recently undergone a renovation, so it's brighter and easier to navigate. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The only "problems" I have in connection to this store is that because of their Adventist faith, they close Friday evening and Saturday, and they don't have a fresh meat department. If they did, I'd do all my grocery shopping there!
A mobile veterinary unit is a wonderful idea, and it really works! We've used Dr. Kennedy for all of our large and small animal problems over the past 6 years. He even came out on Christmas day several years ago when our dog got hit and had her leg dislocated. Dr. Kennedy and staff are always helpful and compassionate.
We found this carpet business when we moved to the area 6 years ago. They have a good selection of carpets and other floor coverings, in a wide range of prices. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We've done return business.
Oh my, I get hungry just thinking about this place! They have a great selection of breads baked fresh daily (try the cheese onion challah!) along with lots of cookies and pastries. They do seasonal baking and take custom orders.
We mainly use this business for our Stihl chainsaw repairs and supplies, but they do have a good selection of lawn tractors, tillers, chainsaws, etc. They have a good service department and are reasonably priced. We've always been happy with the service.
