I found the perfect toddler bed here at half the retail price. It is true that the clothing is pretty high priced for being used, but it is worth the stop if you're looking for a big ticket item. Cribs, toddler beds, high chairs, strollers of all shapes & sizes and a lot more are available now that they have annexed the adjacent business. Do some research to be sure you're getting exactly what you want. They do not take the Discover card and it may be difficult to maneuver a stroller through the racks.
PROS: Location, extremely clean products
CONS: Crowded store, limited parking
Lakewood 15 is definitely an average movie theater in the beginning. It has all the usual concession food, average bathrooms and video games all over the place. The thing that makes this place worth driving past every other movie theater is stadium seating + removeable armrests! We love this place. Great view, even for short people. Decently clean floors, usually not too crowded and nice high backs on the seats. It's almost as good as a home theater & your favorite couch.
PROS: Removeable armrests, stadium seating
CONS: average food, decently clean but not amazing
This South Hill Mall location is probably the best in the south sound area. Clean, big, and they have recently added a curtained area to help you and your child try on clothes. There is usually a video of songs or other various familiar characters playing and 3 chairs that are perfect toddler size. Look out for this place when it is time to redeem Gymbucks, it can be crazy! It is big, but don't think that too many strollers will fit in there at once. Thankfully all the other moms are understanding and are usually in a good mood. The staff is also mostly mothers and a crying baby doesn't frazzle them. Scour the clearance racks for a good deal or sign up on their website to receive notifications of special sales like "Circle of Friends." That coupon usually gives you %30 off your total sale.
PROS: quality, videos for kids, location
CONS: price, hard to manuver double strollers
Worth every penny! I received a pregnancy massage as a gift and I now recommend them to every pregnant woman I know. The massage therapist knew exactly the limitations of my body and was equipped with various pillows and foam padding to make me more comfortable. Incredibly, she was able to make me feel like I wasn't even pregnant. On another visit I received a manicure/pedicure. Again the extremely professional and friendly staff really surpassed my expectations. From beginning to end these have been among the happiest and most relaxing days in my life. Too bad every Nordstrom doesn't have one of these.
PROS: Friendly, professional staff
Woodcreek's main office in downtown Puyallup is a very comfortable place to bring your child. A clean waiting room with great toys and a child-size rocking chair greet you. The receptionists and nurses are always friendly and very understanding. Each room has books, magazines and usually a toy for the children. I have only seen two of the doctors at this location but both have been excellent. Both have listened patiently to my questions, given truly helpful advice and made me feel like I'm doing a good job. Usually the nurse brings you to a room within just a few minutes of your appointment but you may have to wait in there for about 15 minutes. Woodcreek also has convenience care clinic just across the street (see other review), a new branch in the South Hill/Graham area and a 24 hour nurse hotline. After hours you have to leave your name and number but they usually call back within 5-15 minutes
PROS: great doctors, clean offices, good hours, nurse hotline
CONS: be prepared to wait
Nancy Spencer's personal attention makes her prenatal care the best in the region. The birth center is attached to her home and she has achieved a wonderful, homey atmosphere in her office. She has a lovely waiting room with toys for the small children to play with and a small playground in the front yard for the older children (supervised, of course). There is a private office for birthing and a LARGE jetted bathtub for water births. All of this with a view of lovely Lake Tapps. Nancy specializes in low-risk pregnancies and has a thorough screening process. She has been in business for over 20 years and has never lost a baby. She can work with almost every insurance company in the state and has created flexible payment options. I have seen her for two pregnancies and given birth both at her clinic and at home. Each time she made me feel comfortable and that I had her undivided attention.
PROS: Personal attention, homey setting, quick appointments, calming presence
