Newport Beach, CA
True story, John has just been named the number one realtor in the US based on sales volume. He sells properties in the $5-50 million range principally in Newport Beach. He is the most professional realtor in the area and has a great support and escrow staff working for him. If you are looking to sell a property in that price range you should speak with John. His web site is www.johnmcmonigle.com so check it out. Everybody knows a realtor and we went through a few before buying our last house from John.
PROS: Extremely professional and confidential.
CONS: He is very busy.
Lee Perkins looks after the Angels, the Anaheim ducks, most of the top surfers on the world tour and many other sporting celebrities and non-celebrities (like me!). He is the go-to guy in Newport Beach for physical conditioning and rehabilitation. This business is always busy and has a great support staff with excellent training credentials. My personal trainer recommended him to me. If you get a referral you can also claim on health insurance. Although I think Lee is the best there are also some equally great people there that Lee can recommend if he is busy.
PROS: He is the best in town
CONS: Getting an appointment!
Expectations were high as we are always looking for good Indian but unfortunately the menu and surroundings didn't meet the standard. The staff tried hard and given it was early in the opening of the restaurant (it had been open a month) we will try it again in a few months and see if it is any better. No papadums were available!!
PROS: VERY good service.
CONS: Dissapointing menu and atmosphere. Try Royal Kyber instead.
Having travelled through Asia and growing up with some of the best Thai food in Sydney we have finally found a restaurant that comes close to the real thing. I had previously rated this 4 star but reduced to 3 as I think there is now new ownership and it doesnt seem to have the same ambience as before.
PROS: Intimate, authentic and reasonably priced
CONS: Staff seem to change a lot
