This is a good and reliable place for your cleaning. They also take care not to lose anything. They will clean anything. If there are any detriments, the cleaner is among higher costing ones in the area. But if you wan it done right, consider it.
PROS: Good job
CONS: No bargain
OK. If you're a hard core US Army surplus fan, you can probably find it here. Prices are good. Aisles are well-stocked. What they don't have you probably don't need anyway. Don't expect a lot of help finding things, but soldier on, anyway, and you'll find just about anything you might want.
PROS: Lots of military supplies
CONS: Somewhat crowded store
You have to live in Winter Park, a suburb of Orlando, to be a member of this library. But you can check out its used book store, which is not the biggest collection of books in the area but certainly one of the best. And the prices are extremely reasonable, partciularly if you want hard covers. Some books are as low as $1. Check the hours, however, because it is not often 9 to 5 daily or anything like that.
PROS: Good used book store
CONS: Hours are varied
It seems that a lot of visitors to this tourist capital miss this place, but it's well worth seeing. Animals, etc., all within the shadow of the major attractions. A quiet respite from the major theme parks. Children love it. And adults will be charmed.
PROS: Nice place to visit, away from the crowds
OK, folks. Do you know where Sanford is located? It's about 20 miles from downtown Orlando, a former celery capital and a city on a lake. It's a pretty small town. And it has a small but interesting history. The admission charge is small, so if you want to know about Sanford, and you're a tourist, do give it a try. But don't expect a lot.
PROS: History of Sanford
CONS: Not particularly exciting
Let's face it: driving this fast, either with a professional driver or by yourself, is a lot of fun. You have options here, but the drive yourself one takes longer and is considerably expensive. You can also take a ride with a pro. And even that is pretty awesome. You will probably not believe how fast you are going. And if you know, it may scare you. For the fast lane, this is great action.
PROS: Killer speeds
CONS: Not for the faint-hearted turtles
There are all kinds of theme parks, but this is one of the quietest. No blaring music. Often, no crowds. Fish are quiet, after all. The dolphins are great here. So are the killer whales. The shows are fun. You can hand-feed stingrays. There are roller coasters if you want to do more than watching fish in action. Even the food is reasonably good. What's not to like?
PROS: Quiet theme park
CONS: If it rains, the fun is dampened.
Ripley's in general is either liked or disliked by ticket buyers. So if you want the unusual, the bizarre and the strange, by all means sample this one. It has it all. Nearby, there are many other attractions. Ripley's is somewhat pricey, but you get what you pay for, right? And if this is your cup of tea, by all means, try it. No crowds, generally.
PROS: If this is your cup of tea
CONS: Price is not modest
This mall has been here for about forever. Or as long as Orlando has had Walt Disney World (more than 30 years). Typical upscale shops. Not much different from many of its ilk. But a lot of stores, with a lot of variety. Also a decent food court. There are many restaurants in the immediate vicinity, as well as a lot of other smaller shopping malls.
PROS: Variety of stores
CONS: Traffic is heavy in the area
The fact that this semi-adventure has been around a long time is a testimony to its popularity. With major theme parks and other major attractions, the Lil 500 has gone the distance and endured. It's also not in the south tourist corridor of Orlando but in the suburbs, so it's obviously popular with locals. Tourists can find go-carts near Disney, but this one is cheaper, and some would say, better.
PROS: Enduring auto rides
CONS: A hike for tourists
