But really, they have a great selection of tools, as well as everything imaginable for the home. The prices are very reasonable and there are occasional coupons for extra savings. They also offer some great workshops!
I'm an avid reader, so I enjoy just going to bookstores and hanging out. Borders provides the perfect environment for doing this. They have a large selection of magazines and book, as well as a nice coffee shop. There's also an area to relax outside.
Barnes & Noble is a great place to find your books, magazines, DVDs, and CDs. If something isn't in store, they can special order it. There is a Starbucks in the store, so you can grab your favorite magazine, get some coffee, and relax. A great way to spend a lazy evening.
Old Navy offers a great selection of casual wear for men, women, and children. The prices, even when there isn't a sale, are more than reasonable. If you can wait till the end of the season, you can get some killer deals. Last summer, I got a pair of cargo shorts for $2--you can't beat that. The clothes wash well.
Sears Optical has a great selection of eye glass frames and the prices are very reasonable. Contacts are also priced very reasonably. There is almost always some special to get 2 for 1--which equals more savings. The opticians are well mannered and professional.
EB Games is awesome! They'll take back your used or new DVDs and video games and give you credit toward future purchases. They have a bargain bin where you can get some decent games without breaking the bank. The staff is very friendly and always willing to talk "game" with you.
and I'm not sure why. The staff is friendly, but the store is pretty run down. The selection is pretty minimal. The prices are cheap but the merchandise reflects so. The only "deal" from here is college licensed tee shirts--cheaper than most places and typical tee quality.
Belk is one of my favorite dept. stores. They have a great selection of clothing and if patient enough, you can catch some real bargains on high-end, name brand items. Sales staff is always friendly!
I typically enjoy shopping at Ross as they offer name brand clothing and housewares at discount prices. This Ross, however, is not the nicest. The store doesn't appear to be very neat, and items always seem scrummaged through. If looking for discount items, try some of the other stores in the area.
Target has it all....clothes at affordable prices, things for the home, electronics, etc. They have a Starbucks so you can get a nice coffee after getting some serious shopping done. Parking is great here, the staff is friendly. The only things I don't like is their return policy. If you receive something as a gift, you are required to purchase something from that same dept.
