Rocky Mountain Chocolate
This is a must-stop-at shop for anyone who loves their chocolate. It's located in Lake Elsinore's outlet center so be warned that if it's very hot outside, you'd be better off eating inside. They carry a wonderful variety of candies. Everything from lollipops to chocolate covered graham crackers. Prices here are more than reasonable, so when next you're visiting the outlets, this is a wonderful place to stop for a treat.
Shire
The Shire, located in Temecula's Old Town, is a neat little store which has everything from exotic mirrors to western-inspired shelving. The store is split up by style; there is a section for the outdoors, and one I call French feminine. There are inspirational books available, napkins bearing cute sayings, jewelry and any number of other gift ideas. The pricing here is reasonable and every time I visit, I find some new treasure.
Chocolate Florist
This wonderful little store is located towards the end of the run on Temecula's Old Town Front St. They have a lovely collection of confections that are just superb. Attached to the main building - where you can find almost any chocolate variety you'd like - is a yogurt center. This is a must stop for anyone who loves their chocolate or is needing a sugar fix.
Friends The Fallbrook
The Friends of the Fallbrook Library store is also called The Bottom Shelf. It has a nice selection of used books and books on tape available in many different genres. There is a table set up with craft and hobby magazines. In addition to the newer books, they have a good collection of classics available. They are located under the Fallbrook library towards the southern end of the building.
Paperback Shack
At one time, this little store was mainly westerns. It has now branched out to cover a multitude of genres, which makes it an enjoyable place to browse through while searching for that perfect book. Their prices are quite reasonable, and they do accept trades. They have books on tape available, and a nice collection of children's books. This is a nice used bookstore for those who have been searching.

Lady of the Lake in Temecula is a wonderful little store tucked a little ways off of Jefferson. They carry treasures, statues, cards, incense, clothing, and books on many topics. The staff is upbeat and accommodating, just like their other two locations. Prices here are quite reasonable, and on occasion they have very good sales.

The Lady of the Lake in Vista is the newest location in Southern California. They carry books, treasures, clothing, tarot cards, crystals and stones, items of metaphysical interest, etc. The store carries a line of clothing for women; mainly flowing pieces with wonderful colors and textures. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Prices here are quite reasonable, as well, which makes for a worth-while shopping experience.
Barnes & Noble Booksellers
The Barnes and Noble in Escondido is the place to go for new books or music. They carry all book genres and have a nice music section. The staff is knowledgeable, available and helpful. The prices are reasonable, and their sales are worthwhile. This is an excellent spot to spend a day browsing in.

They carry all book genres, although it is mainly family oriented, and have a music section towards the back of the building. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The building is located on the outskirts of the Temecula mall and has a nice sized parking lot. The prices are reasonable, and their sales are worthwhile. This is a good place to go when looking for a few good new books.
