When I first went inside this Bed Bath & Beyond, I thought it felt different from others and then I realized that they carry items that other BBBs don't carry. They have items like toothpaste, soap, over the counter drugs, and other personal items. They also have a special Fine Tabletop and Giftware Department. Maybe it's because of these additions that this store is pretty big, but it is kind of hard to find things in this store.
I like this Bed Bath & Beyond because they seem to change their stock often and you get to see new items from time to time. But that also means that you should probably not wait to get what you want or they might run out of stock or no longer carry things. My experience with the staff there wasn't very great - the floor clerk I talked to didn't know much about anything at all about where the things are. It's good if you are willing to roam the store thoroughly to find what you are looking for than to rely on the workers there.
This is one of the Vitamin Shoppe stores. It's a pretty decent sized store and the workers there are pretty friendly. If you are not sure of what you want, you can ask the workers there and they are very helpful. They'd show you all the products that are relevant to what you are looking for, explain them to you, and also tell you if they have running any promotions on the products. Then they leave you to decide, but are available if you need further assistance. You'd feel like you are in good hands in selecting what you want there.
This Dicks Sporting Goods is conveniently located in the Washingtonian Center. It has two stories and the 2nd floor has another entrance is connected to a bridge that leads to the garage. The first floor is mainly clothings and the second floor larger equipments. They carry lots and lots of items and is the biggest sporting goods store in the area. The prices here is average, but sometimes they do have good sales.
This Healthtrax facility is pretty new. The inside is very clean and new. The facility was opened with partnership with Suburban Hospital. They have indoor lap pool and whirlpool, group exercise studios, an extensive fitness floor, racquetball courts, a basketball court and a new Xpress Training line. They are open 7 days a week and there is plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and it is a good place for a nice workout.
Comcast is the only cable company in the area so there is really no choice if you want to go with cable instead of DSL. If you haev no problem with your high-speed internet, you'd love Comcast. If one day your internet access is down, you'd hate Comcast. My internet has been down several times while I've been their customer. If you call in, they'll definitely blame the lost of connection on you first. They'll exhaust all the possible ways that it is your fault, THEN they'll do something on their side. Most of the time the technicians really don't know what they are talking about, either. They just read it off the script. It happened to me every single time I lost my connection, and every single time it was a problem on THEIR side. What can you do to avoid this? Nothing. You just have to bear with them.
Outback Steakhouse is a very good steakhouse that really satisfies your meat cravings. They have really good food and the waitstaff is friendly and helpful The meal came with freshly baked bread that is excellent. The only thing that wasn't good during my visits was that they practially soaked the salads in dressings. Prices is more expensive than other steakhouses.
This place used to serve authentic Chinese dishes but they changed it so now they serve mainly the generic Chinese dishes that you see in other Chinese restaurants and also sushi. I had their carry out sushi before and it was only ok. I believe that their Chinese dishes are pretty good, though.
This is one of the few stores that sell beads. The store is very small and they have tables with beads displaying in trays. It's pretty quiet and they offer beading classes. The prices of the beads are kind of pricey, though.
The ambiance of this restaurant is pretty nice, with a bar and a big screen TV inside the restaurant. The place looks comtemporary and clean, service is good. Unfortunately, the sushi isn't all that impressive. Zagat noted that the sushi here is "above average", but I'd have to say that it's mediocre at best. The sashimi didn't look fresh and didn't taste that fresh, either. But it is still edible, so to reflect the rating I am giving them. Lastly, the prices is average to expensive.
PROS: Nice ambiance
CONS: Sushi might not be that fresh.
